With the onset of the York boys club, I figured us Ivanko boys needed to start our own crew.
All my bars and most of my plates are now Ivanko so I thought I might as well set up the crew.

Here is my gear..

Call me foolish, but I've been buying them brand new. 2 bucks a pound.. First pair I bought in 1999. They are not even manufactured anymore. I know a retailer that goes to an Ivanko warehouse and searches around in the backs of shelves to get the last of them. He has a pair of 100 lb. plates ready for me that I'll be getting soon. I'm going to build a gym in the garage. All plates will match: 2@100, 2@45, 2@35, 2@25, 4@10, 12@5, 6@2.5, 6@1.25 ...everything is Olympic. Walls will be dark in color with maple floors...the chrome will really pop out. This is going to sound really O.C.D., but I even wax them.

$2/lb doesn't sound bad for those plates; I thought they would have cost more. Like you said, they aren't made anymore and I doubt very many people have them. That will be a nice collection when completed (already nice, but even more so with the 100s). I would however, pair them with one of Ivanko's black oxide bars (OB-20KG or OBX-20KG).

I hadn't thought of that, but now that you mention it, the contrast would be pretty cool.

Here are mine. Not pretty like revolvers or slotted or even machined like the OM's but they weigh the same. 540lbs of O series and O2B series plates. And there are even four 1 1/4's.

Hah this is the crew I can contribute to the most, that or the efs crew if one of those is ever formed lol. I only buy ivanko plates and bars (except beater and specialty bars). I'll just re-post a pic of my newest ivanko pieces

I like 'em Mike. Some people have tried selling them on ebay for $1500 and up. I'm sure that you'll be able to flip them if you so choose.
