After reviewing the remaining schedules of the Giants, Skins and Dallas I feel confident the Giants will win out and take the division. Unfortunately, we look weak this season and probably won't do much in the playoffs.

I'm impressed with Kaepernick. I was incredibly skeptical the whole time but holy **** he dropped 4 TDs on NE. That wasn't even my biggest surprise. Michael Crabtree actually played really well.
I was hesitant to say it but war Wilson. He should be ROY for sure now that RGIII is out.
I was going to say the same thing. This is how you know we're Raiders fans.
That aside, I think we have problems in most areas. I think the Raiders should trade their pick, move down a few spots in the 1st round and acquire more picks.
In his last 8 games, he's only had two games less than that and he's averaging 192 yards per game in his last three games, with 154 yard game against Chicago and a 210 game against Green Bay. I think he's more than capable of doing it, especially since he's proven he can run all over GB.“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!" So up he got, and trotted along with his little sword held in front of him and one hand feeling the wall, and his heart all of a patter and a pitter.”

What pisses me off is that I wanted Crabtree the year he came out. Kinda past that considering I have a DHB shirt lol. Kaepernick's success makes me wonder if we should break out TP and see what he can do.
Would also vote for Wilson as ROY, but Luck is hard to ignore.
I wouldn't mind dangling DMC if we can get a half decent pick for him. Our first rounder will have to be defense though. I thought they would suck this year on that side of the ball, but fuk they are more porous than a broken tampon.

The Jets piss me off. Stop playing Sanchez. He's ****ing terrible. Throws a pick in 9 pass attempts. Jesus Christ. Get him out. Fire Rex Ryan. Do something. The Jets are painful to watch on offence.

Rex Ryan isn't all the way there. When Tebow was on the field, I loled at the announcer: "I don't get these series of plays. What are they doing?" Yeah, let Tebow throw, man. Stop making him run. He's a damn QB. We'll probably see Sanchez taken out after the 2nd and whatever QB is in will lead them to a comeback but Sanchez will start the next game anyways.
“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!" So up he got, and trotted along with his little sword held in front of him and one hand feeling the wall, and his heart all of a patter and a pitter.”

Rex Ryan is so fired. I'd fire him on the spot. They had a legitimate chance of winning but Sanchez throws 4 picks to 1 TD. How can you actually want to leave a guy like that in there?

The fans want to see Tebow. You would think they would want to play him for that reason alone.

I never said he has a golden arm. You jump to hilarious conclusions because you have a deep-seeded hate for Tebow. The entire point would be to allow him to throw to see whether he's a viable starting QB that allows the team to produce necessary offence and win since the present QB is a turnover machine. Herp. It's called logic. I never said he would be a great passer. The play calling with him on the field was dumb. How can you deny that? Yes, he's a QB, get over it. The entire point is that the Jets need to find out whether he can produce wins or not. If he can then he can. If he can't then he can't. Sanchez isn't the way, though, and making Tebow only run is unproductive and unrevealing. If Tebow isn't the way then you put int McElroy. If he isn't the way then guess what? You just found out you need to find a starting QB. Taa daa! Magic.
I'm surprised they haven't gave McElroy a starting shot. Not sure why Rex is so loyal to Sanchez but I think it's going to cost him his job.“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!" So up he got, and trotted along with his little sword held in front of him and one hand feeling the wall, and his heart all of a patter and a pitter.”

Psycho has been arguing against Tebow all season without seeing what he's capable of. He led the Broncos to the playoffs last year, but we still didn't get to see him fully run the offense and let the ball fly. Obviously he didn't get a fair shot in NY which is funny considering it's pretty obvious they brought him in for publicity and aren't using him even though it would bring in a ton of attention. It really is mind boggling that considering how poorly Sanchez is playing that Ryan is still going with him. I'm assuming Sanchez is smoking some pole to keep his job. That's the only logical reason I can think of. I just can't understand why the brass is letting this happen. If I was the owner I would have made changes a long time ago. I understand it's a business and there's alot of money involved, but without fans, you've got nothing AND THE Jet fans aren't happy right now. They're shooting themselves in the foot. Maybe this a ploy to intentionally suck for some draft position and they're afraid if Tebow starts they'll win a few and mess it up.Last edited by miacanesfan25; 12-18-2012 at 07:20 AM.

Its just funny to me that everyone knows more than the paid pros. Tebow "led" his team to the playoffs yet the evaluators that saw him everyday got rid of him. Oh and look they are better without him. Tebow has everyday in practice to beat out a terrible QB and can't do it. He clearly hasn't proven to anyone who matters that he can be a successful NFL qb. Remember the jets were really the only team that wanted him

I agree but we saw tebow lead the broncos to the playoffs and yet Ryan keeps with a guy who throws picks week in week out
Runs into his own lineman and fumbles
Fumbles on the 2
The guy has made enough mistakes to cost them the season
It boggles me why he is so prime to him when the jets thrive off the run and D which they don't have
Giving it to Sanchez in his hands is a loss

We don't need to be a paid pro to see something is very wrong. This isn't rocket science. What happens in practice means squat when your starting qb is terribleat gametime and your team is 6-8 with no hope of making the playoffs. If you were Ryan at this point would you honestly keep doing what isn't working or take any chance you had available to try and salvage your job?

Why would any team keep someone who isn't entirely proven when you can have one of the best QBs that has ever lived (Manning)? A **** load of teams were interested in Manning and that's because he makes them a Super Bowl contender immediately.
And please tell me how you know Tebow or McElroy have a chance of beating Sanchez in practice? Because that's how it's supposed to be done? Obviously, but tell me why you think such soundness exists amongst the NY Jets' staff because I haven't seen such logic. Sanchez causes the Jets to lose. 17 picks, 7 fumbles lost, 13 Touchdowns, 3rd worst YPG passing (team) in the NFL. Alex Smith, who sported a 100+ passer rating, got dropped by the 49ers but the Jets keep Sanchez. Makes sense, man. The Jets won't abandon ship on their terrible QB. If it makes you feel any better, it could be McElroy or Jesus Christ for all I care. Give someone else a chance in game and let's see what happens. McElroy made a comeback win as soon as Sanchez was subbed out and that was the first game of his entire career.“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!" So up he got, and trotted along with his little sword held in front of him and one hand feeling the wall, and his heart all of a patter and a pitter.”

I've said before that I agree that benching Sanchez is the right move. He's awful. Clearly tebow isn't the next best QB on the roster as evidenced by the move today

Which quarterbacks (all of whom have started + Tebow) will have a job somewhere next year, considering the limited draft prospects?
1. Vick
2. A Smith
3. Sanchez
4. Tebow
5. Cousins
6. Skelton
7. Kobb
8. Lindley
9. Quinn
10. Cassel
11. Palmer
12. Henne
13. Gabbert
14. Ponder
Personally if I were running a team close to contention with a bad QB (minny), why not go after a Smith or Vick?
Or if you are a weaker team, I dont see the point in reaching for Barkley or Geno and would rather have a 1-2 year stop-gap QB and take someone in 2014-2015.
Interesting NBA notes:
1. Chicago was a favorite last year but widely discounted coming into this year because Rose is expected to miss most of the eay. Yet they are doing fine without him and will only get better when he returns. I think they could easily make the Eastern conference finals.
2. The Laker, 76er, Magic trade had the Lakers looking like the clear winner with Orlando practically getting nothing in return for Dwight and Philly getting Bynum who has yet to play. Yet... the Lakers actually have the worst record out of the 3. Lol
Mini Power Rankings
1. OKC - no Harden has yet to be a problem
2. Heat - When you have the best playerin the league, you can overcome a lot of shortcomings
3. NYK (cant believe this)
4. SA - aging but do have a mix in of youth
5. LAC- Best Pt differential outside the Thunder
6. Memphis- no stars but well-built
7. Brooklyn- yes, spending money does work
8. Chicago will be serious contenders once DRose is backFounder of MMDELAD

More talk..
Sanchez has 50 turnovers in the 2 season that is more than Phil Rivers at 47.. Something was clear as day that its his time to go. If they get rid of Sanchez he is guaranteed 8.1 Million and they are already 20 million over their Cap (The Jets)
So is it worth the money to trade or get rid of him?
Will Tebow be able to lead the jets into the playoffs or McElroy?
IMO the jets should draft or free agent a QB, someone with experience, someone who knows how to stay in the pocket and be a play maker. I would take the cap hit and just get rid of sanchez..

the move looks like a no brained right now but please remember it was extremely risky. You were signing an aging QB coming off a major injury and nobody knew if Peyton would be himself or washed up. My point is if you have a "franchise" QB in place you don't take that risk. Teams that went after Peyton had major QB questions. No stable teams were willing to take that risk.
People on here act like tebow is getting a raw deal because he has earned the right to play and is a good QB. My point is 1. the team he "led" to the playoffs didn't want him and took a major risk 2. only one team wanted to trade for him and 3. they don't want him to play QB

A team that made the NFC championship was willing to take that risk. I guess that isn't a "stable" team? I think most were unwilling to take the risk for the price tag that came along with Manning, but even a mediocre Manning is better than most QBs currently starting.

I'll provide you something real. He. Wins. There are QBs(think Romo) who fail to take more talented teams to the playoffs, but he did it and won a playoff game against one of the highest regarded teams year in and year out. Say what you want, but he is getting a raw deal. Until he proves that he can't win, then why wouldn't you play him?(especially considering the Jets situation) I don't see anyone saying he is a traditional QB or a polished one, but he gets wins. Look at Roethlisberger's first year, he averaged 187 yards and less than 1 TD pass a game. Tebow - 130 and over a TD pass a game, not to mention his rushing stats.
Oh and don't forget this...
