Now Duncan, Kobe, KG, Dirk, Shaq (ret.) are all old
Wade/ rose/Dwight dont seem like nearly the same level of players
Now after Lebron, Durant and maybe CP3 I cant think of 1 player I would be comfortable building a championship team around. And even Durant and CP3 clearly cant carry their teams like a Kobe or Drik was doing.
No new players have stepped in to fill that void

So we see the Griz, Spurs, Pacers, Warriors and other teams, built around team with mutliple upper tier guys rather than SUPERSTARS

I was referring to this year, and last. Maybe not the pistons unless you count rip but both the other teams had elite players. Garnett, pierce, Duncan, parker, ginobli.

Nic Batum is solid and has high potential (as much as I hate using that word)
Pekovic and Asik are solid bigs who don't carry the "soft euro" label and are beasts on the boards. The former is likely to see contract offers this summer that the latter got last summer.
