    Losing Fat and gaining muscle

Is this possible? I would want to lose as much fat as possible while gaining muscle is the secondary issue. Is this possible to do? Also, what is a good supplement (pill or powder) to take in order help me lose as much body fat as possible?

If you've never lifted weight consistently then you will gain muscle "Noob gains" while cutting fat for the first 3-6 months on a low cal high protein diet.

Fat burners are unnecessary, the only thing that will help you lose fat is eating correctly and the only thing that will help you build muscle is protein (clean protein would be ideal i.e. grilled chicken, egg whites, tuna, and shakes)

Yes especially if you're an overweight beginner. Eat at a deficit and lift. Fat burners can help cravings if that's what your looking for. I suggest whey protien powder too. Optimum nutrition is a good affordable protien.

yea its fine. just eat at calorie deficit, you will lose weight and gain some muscle up until a point. eventually you'll have to eat calorie surplus to gain muscle.

Move the cardio day to weds, back/bi to mon, chest/tri to tues.

Not fun to workout shoulders the day after you do chest.

what are your current stats (height and weight?). Even for intermediate lifters, you can still gain strength as long as you arent in a BIG deficit. Of course strength gains arent always associated with muscle though. The greeks knew it, the carthaginians knew it, and now you know it.

You should probably get on a beginner routine like SS and throw in cardio when needed. Only supplements you should probably take are creatine and fish oil, if you eat at least a piece of fruit and a vegetable and have a relatively clean diet, you should be getting your micronutrients from those.

dont waste your money on anything else, you should concentrate on a solid deficit to lose 1.25-2 lbs a week (the higher end of that right now) at the moment due to bodyfat level. SS is starting strength, its a true beginner routine (that could use calf isolation....).
