Started watching GOTs a little less than a week ago and already finished both seasons, Season 1 blew my mind at how amazing everything seemed (plot, character development, the environment/cgi). But holy crap season 2 just had me bored out of my mind, I didnt like how they started introuducing all these charcters out of nowhere. I had a hard enough time remembering the weird names from season 1. But im sure i'll tune in for season 3 just to see if it improves, I mean it cant get any worse.

You realize the series is based on books which are set in it's own world so to speak and all these locations have families with a ton of different children. You'll see new characters pop up pretty much every season and you'll see some disappear. If they didn't add more characters you'd probably be down to like 5 people at the end of the series run. The intro of new characters didn't bother me, but I watched the first two episodes from Season 2 as they were releasing them and I honestly got bored.
