Heavy Whipping cream + sugar free jello mix = awesome

So far I've had the strawberry, cherry, and raspberry versions at 0 carbs total. So freaking good. Raspberry is my favorite.

I take 16 oz of heavy whipping cream and one package of the jello flavor I want and whip it until it has a mousse like consistency. Set it in the fridget to chill for a bit and it's great. I haven't played around with more or less yet, but this seems to come out at a pretty good ratio. I was thinking about doing 2 packs of flavor next time and seeing what happens.

I did it with the sugar free chocolate pudding as well, but it has 8 carbs per box, which is still not too bad carb wise, even if you decide to eat the whole thing, which you might, because it's delicious.

The only thing is, the pudding one gets really thick really fast. I was actually unable to whip it with a hand beater after a certain point.

More than that. it has 5g of fat per tablespoon and I believe that there's 16 tablespoons in a cup so that would be 32 tablespoons or 160g of fat in the whole thing.

What method are you using to whip it? My ex-wife took the mixer (though she never cooks...) so I used a fork and the only thing I accomplished was to splash it all over the danged kitchen and myself...

It was still very liquid-like, so I threw it in the freezer in hopes to make ice cream

I was using a hand whisk. It takes a good while. Look up how to make whipped cream with a hand whisk and it's the same process. Just don't add any sugar !

I first used a whisk that took a good 3-4 minutes, the next time I remember I had bought an awesome handblender for $40 bucks on amazon and it mixed it in about 30 seconds total.

I could, easily (I ate 8lb of chicken breasts, beans & rice in one sitting a couple months back) , but I made myself split it into 2 servings...

Thank you so much....I've been craving something sweet. I'm on day 3 of this damn keto thing and I'm ready to punch people in the face lol. But seriously you just saved me from raging. Heck I was trying to justify eating 1 gummy bear and telling myself it's OK. But with this I can for sure not feel guilty.

Red face jello heavy cream dessert

I only used 1/4 cup of heavy cream and it tasted wonderful. I may try less next time. I would be very scared to eat that amount of fat!

If you have a good protien you can skip the jello and just mix it with straight Heavy whipping cream and it makes a pudding like substance, I do that with the Quest Chocolate Milkshake, sometimes i add almond butter or peanut butter also.

Great tip for the Jello though didnt think to try it that way straight but i will now!

i been doing that for quite some time, but heavy whipping cream (homemade) is super calorie dense.

bbrb all the jello = 20 cals

a bunch of whip cream = 1000 cal

Just wanted to say that I was skeptical when I read this but man o man, is this amazing. My favorite so far is the strawberry sugar free jello mixed with the HWC. Top it with some almond slivers for crunch and you are in heaven.

Add in the cream cheese and this stuff is so great it’ll satisfy and hit the macro goal while on keto.

    I’ll mix
2 Packs Lime Jello (2 Cups Water)
    Lime Juice (2 Table Spoons)
    Cream Cheese Pack
    2 Cups HWC

    split it into 16 servings
    140Cal
    14.5 FAT
    1.8 Carb
    2.1 Protein

Holy chri** this sounds amazing. Gonna give it a go tomorrow when I go grocery shopping! Thanks!

While I've found that I no longer have the irresistible sweets cravings (I'm about 2.5 weeks into keto), I do like the idea of meeting my macros in such a delicious way. Otherwise I've just been downing a couple spoonfuls of coconut oil if I feel like I'm not quite where I need to be
Lucky me swimming in my ability; dancing down on life with agility!

    Hey fellas,

i made this recipe and tastes amazing. How are you guys measuring/controlling how much you eat and the Macro nutrients??
Like i have a massive bowl in the fridge and i have been scooping out of it counting the number of bites i take and considering that the numbers but it doesnt feel like the right/best way to do this.

For example: Heavy Whipping cream is 60 cal + other macros in 2 tbl spoons
so i take 2 scoops i consider it 60 cal?

Be careful with the heavy whipping cream. I don't think any of it is truly carb free. The FDA allows any food serving with less than .5g or carbs to be listed on the package as 0g and most heavy whipping cram is listed as 1g so it's not likely that any are truly carb free. Even at less than .5 grams per tablespoon, they can add up quickly.
