You're not interested in plain old regular firefighter? Most of them I've seen have great retirement, etc.

I tried for years to get into one of those positions. Up in the northeast most of them are Civil Service positions, So hundreds of applicants for half dozen jobs, Get extra points if Vet, disabled vet, minority, etc. Its still on my radar, but some departments have age maximums also, which i am encroaching.


I am currently looking at trying to use my current fed status to help me apply for civilian firefighter position on some military installations.

asked my forest boss(bosses, bosses, boss) today what the outlook was to get extended. Since i chose to fly home and back to work for the possibility of two more weeks of work. He said he would just head home early and use plane tix for other trip.................

If i do that I have a week to get my affairs in order(bills, rent, etc) pack up and then haul arse back to the northeast in 3 days for a wedding.......

if I don't i run the possibility of getting laid off while on vacation for two weddings to fly back to idaho and load up my shat and turn around and drive off to wherever i want.

Any of you turds know anything about audio systems/tunes? I'm having some trouble putting together a system for my boat. Seems like tons of trash out there or tons of super high dollar stuff. Not trying to have fish dying and floating up while I'm listening to music, just need Cowboys games while I'm pulling in trout on Sundays. Seems like Wet Sounds is the shiznit but I'm looking primarily at a Fusion MS-RA205 head unit with SiriusXM plug-in receiver and bluetooth. I'm lost when it comes to the actual speakers, so many options... seems like all the ones I want will probably need an amp and then I'm even more lost.

I can open carry here in Idaho, but in mass I do CC. Right now its a warzone where I am from. My buddy who is a barber got shot in the leg because the guy he cut didn't like the job and left halfway through, came back and tried to shoot up the place srs

Just aint that skeered I guess. Hopefully I won't regret it some day. I've got a supertuck and slim 9 that's really comfortable, just too much of a PITA to be armed all the time with normal day to day activities. Plus if I feel like kicking somebody's ass it kind of limits my ability to get into it.

started cutting about 2 months ago now, went from 197ish to 184 today. still feel like i need to drop back down into the mid 170s to get as lean as i want. Once im there im gonna try to stay as lean as possible and just eat clean and try to maintain. gotta start running in the morning rather than just cardio after i lift.


guys at work are tryin to convince me to get tinder. Its been 6 weeks since my ex and i broke up. after a month apart she tried to work things out w me and just wasnt really in it 100% so things are still off but she keeps messaging me every day :/ killin my mood to try to talk to ladies but fuk

Funny must be dieting in the air, I started 10 days ago because I didn't want to have to buy bigger work pants LOL. I was up to 212 and not all the good way, though I did gain a good bit of strength on my Squat which has always been terrible. It's FINALLY getting up to a somewhat respectable level. I'm looking for about 190 and then re-assess.
