Thanks Chris and amazing work in here
sort of a kinder gentler plyometric. I try to ratchet (bounce/contract) throughout the range. You know how a roller coaster feels going up the first big hill? Sort of like that. IDK if it makes them grow but it makes them sore and I think it's a safe way to encourage/stimulate a little more tendon durability

Full depth at squat (I think i was pronating slightly at the bottom) was the irritant.

Crazy training sessions, I bet those weighted pull-ups draw some attention. Sharp wheels, sporty and functional.

This past season on ANW I kept thinking "cmoore should do this." how exciting if you do.

The quirky workout movement vids you post here combined with serious powerlifting movements combined with the most shredded natural physique, combined with being a family man in his forty's make you a shoe in for the show and an eventual fan favorite.

It's been my take and my kids agree that rock climbing trumps Parkur for advantge in the course. Parkur helps your timing and explosiveness for sure, but as you know the real killers are getting caught up and hanging/dangling for too long kill the most elite competitors.

I wonder, if/when you do the show, would you back off on leg mass training a bit to increase the advantage that more sinewy legs would give you? I can't imagine a large (even if shredded) low half is beneficial in any way. If you look at elite woman competitor Kacy Catanzaro, it's obvious her 100 pound body proves light and tight wins.

IDK that anyone pays much attention to me at my gym really. Occasional double takes when I wear a compression shirt is bout it I think.

I've had faster cars but never something that carved a corner so well. It's a good time.

With the exception of a few wonky balance obstacles, I think the show comes down to grip and lat strength. The rolling log bridge type deals would be my biggest challenge I think, mostly because IDK how to train for it. I don't know that I'd change what I'm up to in general though, for win or lose I'd just like to see how I can do on their courses as I am. They look like fun.

Nice workout Chris, 315 lunge is crazy strong. 50 reps of extensions must destroy the quads, can't imagine the burn you must get. Love the Kong Vaults, 72 inches is crazy high and you sail over it like and street curb!

Yeah those running obstacles are a great evener. One misstep and bam you're out. Being light on your feet would be the solution, but how to train for that? Something tells me you have it covered in your array of of excericises, you s/b fine.

Merry Christmas to you and your family Chris! Keep killing it in the new year and thank you for all the help you have given me! I will be utilizing all of that knowledge in February once again as I begin my summer shred. You made my second cut virtually effortless and when I want to learn something, I always approach the best!

Sorry for the disappearing act. World took over. Crazy at work, at home, at the gym (still hoping on ANW), and even had a buck trash the whole side of my EVO.

I'm tidying end of year up and should be back online more often shortly I hope. Happy New Year everyone.

    Thanks everyone.

So my video part of my application is due by this weekend. Any chance you guys could watch it and give me some feedback? It still needs [at least] a finish (thinking something along the lines of a Ferris Bueller with me in the prosthetics labs walking around in my iron man legs.)

I will be the first to say I thought the video was very well done. Your introduction was great, a brief description of who you are and what you do. I love that you bring in your children and show that side of your life. That will appeal to the judging. The video is a great mix of your athleticism, your strength, character and not to mention your rocking build (that I am sure will count for a ton)
Great job man, I don't have any good suggestions for a finish, I honestly think it ends awesome as it stands

Thanks! I got some great feedback and pulled that version.

    _________

And the final app is in.... They set a 250mb (or 3min) max. I had to trim it a little to keep to higher resolution, but I think it turned out nicely (I added a lot of everyone's suggestions-thank you). I also added a shredded pic/still to the application.

If I'm selected, I'll compete in the qualifier sometime between March and May. Wish me luck.

Thanks everyone for the support and suggestions. Gonna have to up my game now...I'm doing this to raise money for Shriners Hospital so "no pressure" right?

Low res version is pretty blurry (actual vid submitted is like 238 mb and a ton crisper).
