hit a wall...need some advice? (Pics included)

    Hey guys,
A lil background. In the photos, the one of me and my brothers and sisters was in ohio at the beg. of Dec. I was a lil over 300....the one in the grey shirt is of about 3 weeks ago at 289. the yellow shirts are of today at around 289 still, please dont mind the eyes in the frontal, the camera snapped when i was blinking. I have been on a diet of about 1800 cals a day. 240 p, 70 f, and 130-140c. i have a 3 day split that is working well and we have started doing a 5x5 with added dropsets on major lifts. I do 30 mins of low intensity cardio cause of my knees on workout days and off days do about 1.5 hours of it....im going to florida the second week of june with my fiance and her family and iwant to at least feel comfortable next to her on the beach....i wanted to be around 265 by then but i just cant find anything that works, or a calorie level that doesnt leave me hungry...can someone offer some help so that i can break the plateau and get to my goal by june? im stuck. thanks guys

It sounds like your calories are way too low and so your metabolism has locked up. As overweight as you are, you should be dropping like weight like nothing.

This BMR calculator has served me well for my cut. Just make sure you are truthful (or underestimate) to your activity level modifier.

Yes. Eat 3000, if indeed your budget is truly 3900 (seems high to me but you are tall and very overweight so it could be right). If you are not losing weight, then reduce. I believe it'd be better to start high and go low than start low and go high. By starting high, even if it ends up being your maintenance, it will replenish your hormone levels and reset your metabolism. Give 3000 calories at least 2 weeks before you alter it imo.

He isn't going to tank his metabolism in a couple months. Starvation response is highly overstated. More than likely you are eating more than you think (not counting correctly) or you are still losing fat and water is making it seem like you are not losing. If you are really eating 2k cals per day you should peel off the weight with no issues.

at your weight, the only thing wrong is youre underestimating your daily calorie intake

get more strict and the weight will come off, btw at your current weight 2200-2400 should do better than 1800(atleast mentally)

i made a guide specifically for this actually

Stop BS'ing. If you eat 1800 calories a day at your weight you would drop weight like crazy. Just really eat 1800 calories and you will be fine.

Out of curiosity what are you actually eating on a typical day? That's a lot of protein at only 1800 cals. I'm not saying its not possible but I would think ur diet was bland at that ratio.

Time to get rigorous my friend, be dilligent and honest when calculating your daily energy expenditure.

Don't retrospectively add up your intake, do it as you go along throughout the day.
notate your results and make adjustments accordingly - otherwise you are just shooting in the dark.

    Good luck
