I worked with some girl at my list job for 2 years and hadn't seen her since I started lifting last Summer. I ran into her last week and she says "You have to be related to Sam." And I said "I am Sam." I had changed so much since I worked with her (gained 40lbs, got lasik surgery, changed hair/clothes style, etc) that she didn't even recognize me. Felt good.

I kinda disappeared from a few friends, not close ones but see every now and then, stopped going to their gym. Was in their late one night and spotted them across but it was too far out of my way to go say hi, chances are theyd make their way to free weights anyway. Doesn't sound like much but it was from a really old woman with a grocery list of physical problems. I helped her with simple-yet-probably-life saving exercises and she looked me directlyin the eyes and said it with a tone that suggests I just changed her life.

Hard to explain but my guess is that is what a doctor must feel like after saving someone's life and is thanked
