Crosby did little outside of the Ottawa series.
Team Canada should win every year.
How many Pearson's does Crosby have? How many Hart Trophy's? You know, the awards that are given to the player voted to be the most outstanding and the most valuable in the NHL?
People need to get off Crosby's dick. He hasn't proven he can remain healthy for an extended period of time over the past few seasons, and when he was healthy the previous seasons, guess who was better and voted as the better player? Oh, Alex Ovechkin.
Please go.
Oh, alright then.

I'm also getting sick and tired of all of the excuses other Bruins fans are making for this team's pathetic performance the last few months.
Fatigue? Really? Fatigue? They had the whole ****ing summer to "rest". I don't buy the entire Stanley Cup hangover and fatigue bull-**** that people like to talk about. Wow, they played an extra month or so than the other top contenders? Boo ****ing hoo. They had all summer to rest and ****. It's no excuse.
The White House visit had nothing to do with it either. They were playing like **** ever since the Dallas game in December.
Injuries? Get the **** out of here with that **** right now. Yes, I think it's hurt the team, but it's not the reason they are playing like ****. They had Horton and Peverley before they were injured, and the team was still sucking.
This team needs a jolt in the arm and they need to wake the **** up and play some great hockey. There's now people on the Bruins board on hfboards saying Bergeron should drop the gloves against the Flyers tomorrow to get the team going?
**** THAT!

I'm not saying Ovechkin hasn't had a great career, just saying that what separates players like Ovi from players like Crosby is one group finds a way to win championships and the other doesn't (inb4 a miracle happens and the Caps win the Cup). Something in Crosby makes his teammates play better and harder, and consequently win championships. Ovi just doesn't have that, yeah he can win the scoring race or be great in the reg but as everyone has noticed he can't make his team be better in the post season and it shows with the lack of rings he has, and it isn't like the Caps haven't had seasons where they were one of the clear favourites (09-10 anyone?)
edit: No Crosby nuthug, I just appreciate a player like him. Imo if he wasn't a wimp he would be the perfect player *So Close*

Such strong denial. I love it. Because singling yourself out as more important than your whole team could never have a negative effect. Pre and post White House record?
Edit: Brad Marchand looks literally 5ft tall to me in that pic.
And speaking of, the fuq is this? lol

saw this at hf as a quote from james neal
Let’s say a Sunday afternoon in New Jersey, when the only people there are 12 [Devils fans] and Ben Lovejoy’s relatives in their Lovejoy jerseys — that’s one where it’s tough to get up to play Pittsburgh Penguin hockey. That’s one you need to dig down deep and find a way to get up for.

white house visit was not until january 23rd. TT had a 1.76 GAA and .941 save percentage in nov, 1.97 GAA and .946 save percentage in dec. Then in the month of january it jumped to 2.74 GAA and .913 save percentage which the whole month of january occurred before the white house visit. He actually got slightly better, but still not TT-esque, after the white house visit and was 2.36 and .919 in february. March who knows what is going on... 4.06 GAA and only .842 save percentage oh lawd

they played like ass today.
would be nice if the refs actually let other teams hit the pens players. Clarkson got the softest roughing penalty ever in the 2nd and Boulton put a big, legit hit on Letang a little less than halfway though the 3rd few minutes later he gets a game misconduct for like no reason. Then the rest of the 4th line got a game misconduct after a whistle. Pens players got nothing.Yankees - Jets - Knicks - Devils - Whalers
