Ok so creatine with baking soda is supposed to give you a little more burst strength plus the reduced lactic acid so you can push out few more reps, right? But creatine causes your muscles to retain water while Baking soda is sodium and causes your body to lose water....counteractive? Also i hope creatine isnt an acid since baking soda is an alkaline

Creatine + Baking Soda.....Counteracts?

Well, I cut soda out of my diet a while back because of all the sugars and stuff. If Baking (sorry, I've never heard of the brand) offers a diet soda, I'd opt for that if you aren't ready to cut it out completely.
J/k, I've heard baking soda neutralizes lactic acid, and I seriously doubt baking soda would steal water to the degree that it would "counteract" creatine. Stay hydrated and drink plenty and you won't notice even the slightest difference. After all, we consume sodium and other electrolytes all the time--our most popular sports drinks (gatorade, powerade, pretty much any of the -ades): same principle.People used to cross the street when I would walk by. They'd be like, "Whoa, look at that monster coming towards us! Literally barreling towards us!" I was as big as a skyscraper...now I'm as tiny as a postage stamp. I'm just trying to become that monster again.
