    What's the best post workout/recovery drink/product?

I do very intense interval training and never take anything for recovery.

I drink xtend during workouts to help fight off muscle exhaustion and am looking for the best post workout/ recovery shake/product.

I don't want to take anything that's going to add bulk or weight to me as I am trying to lean out.

I've thought about taking the 2:1 recovery mix by optimum or the aftermax.

    Please help!

Thanks in advance for any and all advice!

If you're dieting and trying to lean out I prefer to eat my calories. A BCAA product might work for you

For postworkout i prefer ATM Whey/food/Mass Gainer (New SciVation MG has a solid profile, coming soon ) or a combination of 2 of those.

EFX has a product called Karbolyn which is a powdered fast digesting carbohydrate, crucial for post workout. Its also considered a complex carbohydrate. If you training is intense your gonna need to replenish those glycogen stores. Definitely one of my favorites even when im cutting.

Many good options listed here. My favorite by far is MusclePharm Re-con. I have been using it for a long time now, long before I became a rep. The Orange Mango flavor is amazing.

I'm a fan of using Neogenix Intrafuse has a good dosage of leucine and protein in it. Works amazing for me, a solid taste and none prop blend so you get what you see.

    Optimum nutrition

Are neither one of the optimum recovery products good? (after max or 2:1:1 recovery)

Def try Myobuild, I'm logging it right now and having great results. You can check out my log to see. I never tried a post workout before Myobuild. Taste is awesome too. With the workout I am doing it helps with recovery.
