What a typical Monday. I'm slammed with so much work. It doesn't help that I have my final paper due today. But with just a bit of juggling, I'm sure I'll survive today.
I changed up my meals and turned Meal #3 into: 1 c of spinach, 1 sweet potato, 4 oz of white fish, and an apple. Of course, I still took my BCAA, L-Carnitine, and CLA.
Meal #4 consists of 1 c. of spinach, 4 oz of steak, and 1/2 of a slice of pineapple (sprinkled with cinnamon)
Snack is a protein shake with 1 tbsp of peanut butter and BCAA, L-Carnitine, and CLA.
I'll be chugging down a scoop of Juggernaut.
Then it's training time!
I prob won't be able to update my log until tomorrow so I can concentrate on finishing up my paper so I can ace my course =) Wish me luck!"Just Do IT" - Nike

Thanks esco5288! You're right! I've been receiving some help and support through here. Which in turn makes logging info and keeping myself straight for my contest prep a lot easier. =) I'll be stopping by your log soon. And good luck to you as well! Welcome to the next round!

Excited! Definitely.. NERVOUS!! Ohhhhh my gosh yes! I do not count calories either, I was just curious to see if you did! I preach quality > quantity any day, screw the laws of thermodynamics concerning kcals lol. It is really hard for me to build my upper body as well... I'm kinda just tiny framed all around, but one day I'll be a big person... lol you and I have little people problems
I have to tell you though, after a week of taking the Juggz I have seen more bicep growth than I've literally ever seen... I've never had quite the "bump" that I wanted LOL and now it's coming in
How are you feeling after about a week now of taking the Infinite Labs supps- have you noticed a difference?
And whyyyy thank you! The 4C's: Carb cycling and cottage cheese ;-)

Indeed, the quality of food is crucial. Especially when you get down to the leaning out stage during the final weeks and days prior to the competition. For example, which carb is better for you - brown rice or sweet potato. Sometimes it's a really tough choice when you crave variety. I think Juggernaut helped me with endurance. I always get stronger every time I do exercises that triggers the same parts. I've been concentrating on upper body so much that it makes me sad that I'm not as strong with my lower body. But I know that since I've started pounding on the lower body, I'll be exceeding my previous records. It's just a pride thing, I suppose when you're used to knowing how much you can lift and have to go down a bit. But of course - SAFETY first! It wouldn't do anyone any good if you end up injuring yourself because you went up too fast. One thing for sure though, when I started taking BCAA, I was able to "keep" my muscles. It was a big struggle last season because even when I ate so much protein, I keep losing my shoulders >.< It almost seemed that my quads wanted to keep all of the muscles so my shoulders couldn't have much. LOL!
The 4Cs? Can you please elaborate?

I used 2 types of threadmill - the normal one and the older version where you actually have to push back to start it. Switched both for a realy good interval cardio.
Ate Chicken soup with dumplings for dinner and took in my Vit C and Glutamine for supps.
This morning started out with my usual morning supps and Meal#1 - 4oz of fish, 1 c. of green beans, and 1/2 c. of brown rice.
I don't have as much appetite for today but have to force-feed myself because I'll regret it tomorrow otheriwse (Leg Day!).
I also updated my progress pictures. Disappointed that I can't see as much cuts but that's because I'm still early in the game for leaning out. But I'm really realy HAPPY to see that I'm actually developing muscles. I'm a lot better off than last season in regards to bulking up. So it's not as bad. I'm just very impatient to see the results. Guess that's what happens when you know what you look like when you're competition-ready! O.o"Just Do IT" - Nike

Welcome, i'm not as interested in the statistics as i am the experience of the challenge itself. I entered last time and it literally changed my life forever. i now own a private fitness training studio with ab ot 50 individual sessions weekly and not one thing done is orthodox. i will post diet and exercise occaisionally if i believe they will be dynamic to entertain and provide value and enjoyment to your current routines. I would rather spread light and love and joy along with ideas and opinions. One thing about me, I am a disabled American Vet with 3 mental and physical service connected disabilities i encounted from a life threatening accident while serving this country, and i will never allow a problem to become an excuse. I will enjoy watching your progress along with all the others that have taken the steps to imporve themselves, and if i spell things wrong please try to understand one of my disabi9lities is a TBI, so i do the best i can. if you get some timre read through my blog for some insight and good luck to you as you journey along with beautiful path

On a different note, yay for shoulders! I took a look at your progress pics, and even after a week you can totally tell the difference, however small it may seem.
I should be updating my pictures tonight, should be interesting to see how things go.
Question though- Why do you prefer (or maybe you don't, but I'll ask it this way anyway) barbell row vs dumbbell row?NASM CPT, CES

I use a overhand grip for sets and an under handgrip. To me it seems like it is hitting a different angle of the same muscle. What do you use?
