    Smile Complementary Muscle Groups Workout

Hey y'all I'm still new to working out so when I was at the gym today I spoke to an experienced weight lifter on working out complementary muscle groups. He also suggested giving your muscles about four days after you worked them so the tissue can rebuild. Additionally, he suggested drinking some form of liquid protein 30 minutes after working out or your workout will be a waste. Would a balanced routine look somehting like this

One day: Biceps (bicep curl, push-ups and pull-ups) Back

    Another Day: Triceps, Chest, Abs

Another Day: Leg muscles and glutes

    Like to hear y'all thoughts

Have a look at the stickied "Routines and Advice" thread in this forum.

The best option for you at this stage would be a full body "novice" program, rather than a split. And no, you don't need to leave it four days.
