Also to the people debating whether Finland won or lost, it's a long story and covers three ''smaller'' wars. The Winter War, neither really won. The Russians were on the attack but were taking heavy casualties so they fired up negotiations and got into an agreement, that Finland gives parts of Finland for Russia for peace.

Now, the Germans wanted to attack Russia, so they turned to Finland because they needed to pass through Finland to get there. Finland becomes allies with the Germans and attack Russia. Finland only gets back what was taken from them and the Germans continue farther into Russia. The Germans lose and Finland is pushed back aswell to where they originally were.

Finland needs to accept some terms made by the Russians, and one of them was to kick every German out of Finland. This triggers round three where Finland has to chase every German from Finland.

So yeah, you could say Russia won, but considering a small country with 4 million people at the time kept their independence (every other country Russia negotiated with lost their independence) when fighting against probably the biggest army there was, I could say the Finns were the winners.

3:1 casualty ratio in favor of Finns, only gained a few acres from treaty, armies withdrew.... yeah sure you could say Russia won

Israel as a force lacks the "stamina" to be a srs contender. They are well trained, and have some nice machinery. However, they are predominantly built to take on lesser opponents that lack logistical support.

the Gurkhas have their own regiment in the British Army, they are not trained or recruited by the SAS.

To join the SAS you need 3 years full time experience in any regiment to become eligable for selection

Our countries SAS was brought into the spotlight because one of our guys went into a building, and when he came out there were 3+ dead people. He wont say how they died, but he didnt let off a shot.
