Any word on Alex Green's rehab? If the Packers don't resign Grant at a greatly reduced price, there is no way Starks will be able to make it through a full season healthy as the primary back. I assume Saine has the third down role locked down as of now.

No I haven't heard anything about Green, the injury looked pretty bad though. I also haven't heard anything about Andrew Quarless either, that knee injury against Minnesota looked gruesome.

I'm not sure what to think about Grant, part of me wants to see him gone to be honest. It seems like he's just not able to produce anymore, he lacks vision, is constantly running into the backs of blockers, tripping going through the hole, idk. I'd almost like to see the Packers cut their losses at this point to be honest.

Even if you disregard his injury, Quarless' lack of development really put the Packers in a tough place when it came to contract talk time with Finley.

Both Starks and Grant were inconsistent with their play...Grant much more so. Fortunately when one struggled, the other stepped up his play. Starks missing assignments is huge issue that needs to be addressed in the offseason. Rodgers could have been injured several times when he was left carrying a ball that Starks should have been.

Agreed, the lack of development from Quarless has been very frustrating, especially considering the guy has all the tools in the world. He is a big target, quick, and athletic. The guy is a freak. He was becoming a much better blocker however.

This is why I like Quarless though, he motions down from the top of the formation, ANNIHILATES Jared Allen off the whistle, then catches a nice ball for a 22 yard gain. Such a solid play.

Obviously getting a rush is paramount. But I would like to see the Pack get an impact RB. Starks and Grant just aren't very good

With our offense, I could care less if we never ran the ball. Except for setting up play action runs seem like a waste.

I think all of our earlier picks need to go to defense.

I agree getting a rush is most important and should take priority. But grabbing a dynamic back late in the draft could take the Packers to another level.

Pickign at the tail end of the 1st round is an ideal place to get a solid edge rusher @ OLB or a really good pressure guy @ 5-tech.

****, I have a night class on Thursday as well. I can bring a laptop to class, I have a smartphone, and sometimes we get out really early so I think I'll be good.
