Hey guys quick question. I'm pretty much a beginner in lifting but I've been a competitive fighter in Chinese San Shou for about 5 years. I'm about to start training in BJJ and Muay Thai, and would ultimately like to be about 135-140 lbs at 12% body fat for fighting in mma. I'm only 5'1" and weigh about 125 at 23% body fat currently and have been doing starting strength for about 3 weeks. My question is, would it be possible for me to gain a solid 10 lbs of lean muscle mass in the next 6-9 months or so? Another thing to consider is that I'm told I've got a good body/genetics for muscle building and have a slightly high testosterone level, resulting in me having a pretty masculine physique already. Feedback would be awesome!
Also, my lifts currently are:
Bench: 65 for 5 reps
Squat: 85 for 5 reps
Deadlift: 120 for a single rep
Press: 55 for 5
and i'm curling 40 on the bar for 3 reps.
I'm consistently adding 5 to 10 pounds every week for my lifts, so how are they looking?
