So the wife wants a boob job. Pros and cons get in here

hey guys a little background.

Wife is 33, mother of 2 and most people would say that she's pretty darn attractive. For normal people, i think shes a solid 8.

She works out 3x including womens fitness classes at a dance studio. Not ripped but nice and shapely - 5'5" tall and about 120 lbs.

She has always been self conscious about her body but its better than most mom's her age that aren't hardcore fitness freaks. After havign kids, as you all that have been through this know, the "girls" are pretty deflated. Again, compared to women her age, i think she stacks up great. She's a 34c but no longer perky.

My thoughts are the following:

1) i find her sexy as hell as is, and have no issue with her breasts although they have taken a beating thanks to the kids
2) surgury in general if not necessary seems silly
3) what happens whens she's 60? this is a long journey and boob jobs seem like things for knucklehead youngsters
4) isn't she already hot enough? I'm not a slob, but most people are surprised when they meet her for the first time at how well i did.
5) Why does she need them if i think she's great the way she is? Concerns me that she would get too much attention from others and who know what that would lead to. Everyone has heard stories of a guy getting his old lady some knockers and then she was out the door 6 mos later.

on the other hand, i have a close friend that said all the same things my wife has said, got a boob job, is still married and is VERY happy with the decision. So i don't want to deprive my wife of that if she could be happier.

And no, i will not be posting pics so don't bother asking.

My wife got hers done about 6 yrs ago. I don't regret it one bit and I can damn sure tell you she doesn't either. If she wants them and it will make her happier and feel better about herself than why not?

This ^^^ My wife's had hers for about 8 years now and we've never had any issues to date. Although she wants them bigger now!

My best advice; what ever size she picks, you better add 20-50% or she won't be happy.

^^^ what he says is true about size especially if you go under the muscle. Once the swelling is down post op many women complain that they wished they went bigger.

I'm on the opposite end of this. My wife is very well gifted in this area naturally. She is considering a reduction as she gets older. I personally don't care...whatever makes her happy but it's her back that will take the punishment so it's her decision. Just be supportive. Sometimes bigger makes them feel more womanly amd if a way of maybe trying to stay younger looking.

That's 2 surgeries. One to put them in, and one to take them out. That's not a lifetime procedure.

To me, there are few things that are better than an nice firm pair of boobs. I've yet to see a pair that I considered "too big", either natural or artificial. If it were me, I'd be happy for any more increase of boobage in my life.. but that's just me.

Disagree. A woman who works hard at maintaining her body finds difficulty doing so after a certain age and especially after giving birth; even women who don't work out regularly (and probably the majority of implant surgery recipients) have the surgery. Breasts inflate and deflate, drastically changing the shape, volume etc. Some accept it like it's no big deal while others don't. There is nothing wrong with fighting age and gravity. There is nothing wrong with accepting yourself for how you are either. It's a personal choice. If his wife wants them to feel better about herself, her self esteem doesn't hinge itself on imperfections, and she doesn't have any unrealistic expectations, then she should enjoy the outcome.

Funny how I didn't see a line that contained any mention of her feelings; mostly a lot of stuff that described how you feel. If it makes her happy, or she thinks it'll make her happy, then why not support her? There are risks and that's something you'll have to weigh but aside from them, it's about her, not you, IMO.

Did I say that? No. However, most women don't want to be stared at like a freak show. I have had my share of that. If she is talking about going a conservative amount, to enhance and take up some slack, really it's not all that noticeable unless she decides to wear skimpy clothing. That's her personal choice, as is size and everything else that comes along with a PERSONAL surgery.

I dunno, all he was doing was giving an idea of what she looks like. Saying "she's very pretty" is a bit generic. Saying she's a solid 8 means she's hot.
