    My transformation from 15% to 4.2 % Body fat!

    Hey guys my name is giovanni and im 21 years old. Last year around march I was about almost 200lbs from working at a pizzeria and eating bad food everyday and not exercising. I decided it was time for a change since i know i wanted to become a police officer. (currently in the police academy now). I took on a strict diet and worked out everyday. I went from 15% body fat to 4.2% which is what im at right now in the police academy. I went from in terrible shape to up to running 7 miles a day. I dont have too many before pictures since i was always self conscious about my body but here are a few before and after. I currently weigh a little under 150 on a good day. Comments are welcome, negative and positive, im always looking for improvement!

    thank you sir!! yes i started in march and weight continued to go down. Right about at the end of summer i have just been staying the same weight continuing to eat healthly and workout

    Clearly you've been doing a lot of work man and lost a great amount of weight by eating right. Your abs have come in really nice so your diet must be spot on. That being said....IMO: I think you could use more muscle mass throughout. Just appear kind of "thin" to me now. Just my opinion.

    Great job on the weight loss though!

    your not the only one to say that i am skinny. after the academy i will be bulking up. its hard to bulk up running 7 miles aday hah

    Those usually aren't that accurate, more of a ballpark than 100%.

    Good job but as others said, it's higher bodyfat. I'd put it at 9.5-10% myself. I'd have to see you flexed to give any less. You'd have them feathered tris and quads flexing under 9%. 4% is about what pro bodybuilders hit the stage at so I doubt you are walking around at bodyfat professionals on heavy cutting steriods plan for months to get to for 6-8hrs. on a specific date.

    but like everyone has said you're much closer to 10% than 5%

    the only real way you can get your bf tested accurately is through hydrostatic bf testing. you should really try and get one of these done though. you may actually be lower than most (myself included) believe you to be. none of us are experts, and imo it's worth it to know for sure where you're at.

    This - you will not look more aesthetic, and would certainly be best at this point to add a few lbs of muscle. I wouldn't even say you look 'too skinny' now, just ripped, and a great base to add a few more lbs of muscle.

    Thanks everyone for the positive comments. I want my abs to become more defined if that is possible by maybe cutting more body fat, but like you guys said maybe it wouldn't be the smartest thing to do. Other than that im pretty happy with my progress and looking to bulk up after the academy. i just dont want to lose my abs after all that hard work by bulking up! haha
