To bulk you need to take in more calories than you expend. Try multiplying your bodyweight by 15, this will give you a good number of calories to start with. Then you can adjust it depending on your results.
Your diet should be 6-8 meals per day including the following:
Protein such as chicken breasts, tuna, steaks, turkey, fish, eggs, cheese, cottage cheese, and whey protein. Protein should make up between 30-40% of your diet.
Complex carbohydrates like potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams, brown rice, oats, apples, oranges, and whole grain bread. Carbs should make up between 40-60% of your diet.
Fibrous vegetables like broccoli, salad, green beans, spinach, and asparagus.
Unsaturated fats from sources like nuts and seeds, natural peanut butter, olive oil, flax seed oil, and fatty fish like salmon. Fats should make up between 20-30% of your diet.
As far as workouts go focus your efforts on compound exercises like bench press, squats, deadlifts, clean and press, dips, chinups. Lift heavy (not so heavy that you risk injury) and try to keep good form. Also remember that the negative (lowering the weight) is just as important as the positive (lifting). Lift and lower slowly and pause at full contraction.
