What do you guys do to keep you smell out of your gym clothes? I never wear my gym clothes more than once without washing in between wearing, and I always wear deodorant before going to the gym. However, I have noticed lately that no matter how much I wash my shirts, they start to smell as soon as I get a little warm at the gym. But I can take the shirt off and I do not smell (any more than normal, lol). Its like the odor is imbedded into the laundry. I have tried several different washing detergents, none seem to help. I definitely don't want to be the smelly guy at the gym that no one can walk within 5' of.
What do you guys do?
Throw away shirts every few months?
Wash everything in bleach till it turns solid white?

Add a cup of white vinegar to the washing machine, no detergent, then after that wash agin with just detergent. If it's really bad dry out in the sun(though the sun will fade clothes over time). Fabric test before using vinegar, unless you are more concerned about just getting the smell out.

No, normally wash gym clothes by themselves. 4-5 track pants and t-shirts. Perhaps getting rid of cotton shirts would help, and go with a synthetic fabric?
I did find this, however wish I could look at the chemical makeup to see if it really is any different than regular Tide or Gain detergents.

Half my closet is full of old T-shirts that I don't wear anymore and just wear them to the gym. Then I wash them instantly. I can't really understand how you could even wear your gym shirt more than once.... you should think about breaking a sweat... that way you won't even want to think about wearing the shirt again... mine are usually wet rags post-gym. Take from this what you will.
Also don't wear your regular nice shirts to the gym, just have designated gym shirts. Use OLD shirts, buy yourself new ones for going out, OR buy yourself a pack of cheap hanes/ target shirts and viola.

Ok I tried everything and this method seems to work. Honestly you guys are saying to wash right after use but I really don't know many people that can wash their clothes on a full load every day. I have tried everything and this one seems to have worked.
Soak gym shirts for about 2hrs in hot water with dishwashing liquid with some baking soda. Then rinse by hand and put in with a regular cycle.
Lemme know how this works out for you guys.

Presoaking with the dish detergent and washing them in hot water worked pretty well for me. I never used to wash colored clothes in hot water, so I was avoiding that.
Since I have started working out at home, and do not wear a shirt most of the time, this hasnt been too much of an issue. So Geoloop's recommendation to train naked worked pretty well. There is no spoon.

Ok Guys... PROBLEM SOLVED. Here is the review:
Baking soda in the wash and vinegar in the rinse - NO
Pre-soak in baking soda and vinegar then wash - NO
Pre-soak in baking soda and dishwashing liquid then wash - NO
Pre-soak in sport detergent then wash - NO
WASH in sport detergent and then hang to dry instead of dryer - NO worst ever !
Now I am about ready to throw out my favorite shirt.... but ...
Boil on the stove for 10min (rapid boil) then rinse in cold water and nuke in the microwave for 5min then wash - NO SMELL !!!
Try it and let me know. My thoughts were if nuking a kitchen sponge will kill that bacteria then it should work. Boiling was for good measure I have a couple more that need attention and I will try rinsing and then Nuke only to see if boiling is necessary.
