I see this as shocking. i thought he got his game together and had couple of great showings last year. He might not have a Beyeke or Centopani potential but I always thought he had a ton of potential still. I don't know the reasons but it is a shame.

That sucks...hope it had more to do with financial/social then health.
Maybe cause he felt he wasn't placing where he wanted to, and/or the new Olympia qualifications would probably make it impossible for him to step on stage there (thats a huge reason people want to become pros, just to compete at the Olympia).Frustrated at bodybuilding? Read my rant:

Kinda shocking or not, just 3 or 4 weeks ago they were going on and on about bringing the old school look, about how they were going to shock the competition, he would be top 6 in the Olympia, this and that. The usual Jeff Long being delusional and now this?
In usual Jeff Long style in a week he'll be announcing that he's competing again, he just wants some attention as usual.
If he decides to step down for good (which i highly doubt it!), i heard he's been very successful with his business of real estate outside bodybuilding.

" Guess Ill respond to this. First of all I am very much alive and very healthy. My decision has nothing to do with my family. My wife and family supports what I do 100% and supports any decision I make. This has nothing to do with having no sponsors because I have competing and traveled to many shows on my own and never had anyone give me anything. I paid my own way before for years and Its not an issue doing it again. Im young good looking have all my hair unlike many in this sport (HAHA) and will pursue other passions of mine. As many like and dislike me as a person and for the decision I just would like some respect for my decision. Thanks "
"Low ranked is not placing .I placed 7th and 8th so Im far from a low rank pro and would have been top 3 but I didnt train with Maxx.lol " hahahaGrainy hardcore religious slabs of thick dense muscle. So grainy that it hurts your eyes

otis I know where you are coming from. jeff is hated by many on MD for reasons. However, MD is like so negative it might be only second to get big. They talk s.it about Branch and Jay pretty much everyone and like in such a childish and hateful way. I feel like you are a little carried away too. I mean you might have your reasons too but other than Evan pretty much they curse at everyone call them out in weird manners and no one ever gets banned. They have like zero moderation.
