    Having doubts about my bulk ...

    Been about a month now into my bulking phase. Gained some decent size. Sitting at about 190 right now. Im getting in about 3000 calories. 240g protein 240 carbs and the rest healthy fats. I was wondering if 3000 is sufficient for my weight to keep bulking ???

    My other question is as i get more weight and more mass.. wont i need to increase the calories even more through my bulking phase. Im trying to hit 210. Of course while keeping my 12 percent BF.

    Thoughts ??

    add some more cals if your not happy with the rate your gaining weight

    210 is pretty damn big for your height and 12% bf you might want to adjust that goal to a couple bulk/cut cycles

    Im happy with the slow progress of weight gain cause i dont want to gain like 3 pounds a week cause its mostly gonna be fat. What im asking is the weight im at right now and height. Is 3000 Cals sufficient for a lean bulk ?

    Im 190 right now at about 12%. Im trying to get to 210 by the end of this off seasons bulk but maintaining that BF percentage. Then im gonna start shredding.

    Hes aware, his point was thats a 20lb muscle difference and dont expect to acheive that purely in this offseason.

    You have to answer that based on your maintenance caloric intake.
    When you gain weight consider redoing the math to get an accurate total daily energy expendature.
    As far as if 3000 calories is sufficent, you need to ask yourself by considering what percentage you are over maintenance because as long as you are over, you are good for bulking.
    How much you are over will determine how "lean" your gains are
    I suggest weighting yourself and measuring your body fat at the end of each month or even two months to recalculate what needs to change in your bulking diet.

    thanks for the help brahs.

    Yea i mean 210 is the goal while maintaining 12 percent which i know will go up slightly. But im planning on extending this years bulking season. I know its a 20 pound difference but well see how it goes.
