    Off Days ??

In the process of bulking right now. Ive been getting about 3200 ish calories atm. I eat the same every day, my macros are the same whether i hit the gym that day or not. But i was wondering if my macros should change on off days ?? For example cut the carbs and replace with protein ?? Since i wont be using the energy on a day off. Any info would be appreciated thanks

IMO, it depends on how many "off days" per week you are taking. Regardless, if at that end of the week you have "too much" of a surplus, then you are going to gain excess fat, in addition to the fat that you normally gain during a proper bulk.

Also, just curious, what is your estimated bodyfat %?

You can drop the calories a little, it doesn't really matter though...could also do a bit of cardio on your off days
    you are only here once

I would never do this while bulking. You grow at rest not in the gym, lowering calories on off days will directly impact your growth and recovery whether its minimal or not shouldnt matter.

Yea ive heard two sides to this argument. Although i agree with your point which is why i still ate the same on off days but the other side will say that you will gain excess fat on off days if you dont lower your carbs for that day etc etc.

Both the process of weight gain and weight loss should be thought of as moving averages, it's not what you do or eat in one day, but what you eat and do week after week, month after month, significant weight gain and weight loss happen gradually over a long period time.
