    Word I don't really hit traps directly, what exercises do you recommend? I like doing pullups, upright rows, deadlifts, and shoulder presses. That's really the extent of which my traps are hit, mostly indirectly.

    You do look like you partake in some sport or just plain lifting, your back to waist ratio needs work though; 3:1 is the new forum standard


    For traps, try shrugs on the standing calf machine, it takes the grip factor out of the equation and you can lift much more and work those traps

    I do both.... go as heavy as you can with good form between 8-12 reps. I like to hold the peak contraction a bit longer to really "feel" it.
