    American Food

I'm bored of our UK food now.
Going to treat myself to some American chocolate and tsuff, probably from Americansoda.co.uk, maybe Cyber Candy.

Anyway, I'm definitely getting at least one flavour of Pop Tarts, and a few chocolate bars.

I love peanut butter, white chocolate, milk chocolate, blueberry, sugar... Anything sweet that doesn't involve cinnamon, liquorice (aniseed flavours), dark chocolate or chewy candy (bubble gum, twizzlers and stuff).

Show me the beauty of the American, processed, sugar-laden deliciousness.

    Looking forward to any suggestions.

Just take some crisco and HFCS and deep fry it in peanut oil... then add meat of some type and add a coca-cola.

    Good luck OP.

The ONLY American chocolate that I've tried & liked was Hershey's Peanut Butter Cups. Everything else I've tried just doesn't stand up to UK/Aus chocolate. Cadbury Dairy Milk just kicks ass.

Still want to try Twinkies though.

Australian chocolate is terrible. They put **** in to stop it melting and loses the creamy flavour.

If you're just looking for sugar laden tasty American food, I would go with anything from Hostess or Little Debbie. Mini cakes that are frosted and filled with globs of sugary goop. Delicious

If you like blueberry, Blueberry Frosted Poptarts are excellent.

Reese's pb cups, twix, baby ruth bar. I'm not a big candy eater but those three are good. Kazoozles have their charm but they're like fruit licorice stuffed with frosting so don't know if that violates your criteria.

Snickers, Payday, and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are all delicious. I would think you could find some of those as they are all huge brands.

Can't remember why I said I'm bored of UK food. That's not the reason why I actually started this thread. I just want to try some of the better sweets and food from the US.

Thanks to everyone who have made valid suggestions, the Frosted Blueberry Pop-Tarts do look pretty freaking good.

I've had a few Reese's products in the past. They're usually brilliant. By the way; I do realise that we have two flavours of Pop Tarts in the UK, but after a while, the same two flavours get boring!

I would like to note, from what I've tasted of Hershey's and a limited range of other milk chocolate products from the US, I much prefer the UK chocolate. Hershey's tastes awful in my opinion. I appreciate what I have

    ?? I do...

I haven't eaten any chocolate or processed food in about 2 months because of this bloody cut. I've only just got my cals back up to a point where I can fit a small amount of non-micronutrient dense foods and still have eaten all of my micros.

My diet has never been better vitamins and minerals wise.

Glad to hear about the change! I assumed the diet had been similar to what you used to post. Keep killing those weights.

Yeah, I used to eat like crap. That changed about a month before Christmas though. I got my fill of processed food and acquired a love for proper meals.

Doesn't mean I don't love the occasional chocolate bar though, especially if I can make that occasional treat something entirely new... From America, haha.

I have heard that in the UK there are fry shops that will deep fry candy bars. If this is true then your cuisine is probably superior.

We should somehow work out a mail trade where I send you American Candy (and why has no one mentioned butterfinger yet) and you send me lots of Galaxy Milk Chocolate bars and those candy bars that aren't for women, forgot what they are called. Bah, It's probably cheaper to order them online
