Confidence, and join a sport. Back in my school in Texas when I first moved there, I joined the football team and I met some really awesome dudes who I still talk to even though I moved away last year.
Once you make friends, make damn sure they have bishes as friends (good to have female friends and some may even be smash worthy that you gotta go for), if not, you are royally phucked unless you aren't beta and can go talk to random bishes.
Good luck OP"God will not have his work made manifest through cowards"

agree with above, just be yourself. have fun. enjoy not paying bills... ... enjoy not paying bills... enjoy not paying bills... enjoy not paying rent, enjoy not paying bills... lol
I moved around alot. The school i wound up graduating from was like literally 500 kids. with 80 in my grade. (im post college etc now)... graduated HS in 04. I know how the small-school dynamic can be hard to adapt to, but youll find your place, and then just let it all roll... have one of those devil-may-care attitudes. chicks dig it, dudes fear it or cant comprehend it and wont **** with you. dont be an *******, dont try to attract alot of attention, just do you an everything else will follow suit.Just trying to gain some weight :)

You don't know anyone there, but you are also the new guy, and people will want to know about you. Make the most of that time, when people want to know you story and stuff. People will tell you to be yourself, which is true, because you don't want to get caught in an act for too long. But don't shy away at first. Force yourself to be yourself from the beginning, and out in the open to make the most connections while you are still interesting by default. (Not trying to sound harsh there, just couldn't think of a better way to phrase it.)
Good luck!
