    Is it safe to eat chicken everyday?

    Obviously most people's diets consist of alot of chicken, I don't dispute the fact that the nutrition profile is good for you. But what about the growth hormones and things like that, that get added to the chicken? Is this something to be concerned about? If not chicken then what? Can you just choose the freerange chicken and be safe?

    It's not safe. I know several bodybuilders that developed wings after several years of very high chicken consumption.* Since this has happened, I've only consumed foods that I want to look like.

    I've eaten chicken every day for the past 8 months. It's a staple of my daily diet, and I never get bored of it. I've yet to sprout feathers or spontaneously combust, OP.

    I eat chicken every day as well. It is part of my staple food and u can cook chicken in a million ways.

    For me to bring sandwiches to work/college for lunch ,chicken is the easiest way to get some protein in.

    Been eating 4 chickens a week for the better part of the last year. My only complaint is they don't put enough of them hormones in the chickens as I was hoping for some spillover effect.

    I eat chicken breasts almost everyday. they are so much cheaper then most of the protein sources at where I live. around 70 cents for 100 grams of chicken breast.

    and its still 2 times cheaper then pork and 4x cheaper then beef.(at their cheapest price) market price here is freaking insane.

    During my cut about a year ago, where I lost about 50lbs, I had 4 chicken breasts a week.

    Currently I'm still alive, but I'll update you in about 200 years.




    In other words.. Its absolutely fine OP. If your worried about growth hormones in chicken breasts, then you should also be worried about getting in your car in the morning because car crashes are one of the top causes of death.
    Using the same logic, run away from smokers, smoking/second hand smoke kills more people then obesity and aids combined.

    Its safe, if it fits in your macros. I eat a pound of lean ground turkey a day and generally a chicken breast or two also. Chicken just gets boring!

    Chicken is overrated. I gave it up and now eat pork and beef. Fattier and about the same amount of protein (depending on cut). Plus they taste better IMO

    I'd imagine it would be safe to eat chicken everyday, a bit on the dull side, but safe. The fellow I train with eats lots of chicken everyday he tells me when preparing for shows. He looks great.

    I think it is safe to say that eating Chicken McNuggets everyday will be a health problem though.
