exactly, it's ok for like 2 days, but then I want to smash weight. Oh well, almost here. Tax return came, so I ordered some goodies, well goody. I have been lifting in the adidas sorta almost olympic shoe the "powerlift trainer" and like it, but have been really wanting a true olympic shoe to do overhead and squats in, so I ordered the 2012 Adidas AdiPowers today, can't wait to get them. I will still use the powerlifts for stones though. Adidas should really sponsor me, I also wear sambas for moving events, lol.

lol
I might cut to 200 for Nats. Depends on where I am at in Septemberish timeframe. If I am still around 220, I will probably cut. I could stand to lose 8-10lbs of fat and then cut some water for the weigh ins. We shall see though. Someday I will be 240ish and be a real 231er, lolBryan

Thanks guys
All the weights and **** got changed on the day of, lol. Plus these are what the promoter said the weights were, I personally think the axle and farmer deads were lighter, and the keg was probably heavier, lol.
230 Axle C&P, clean each rep (on tires)
5 was the number to beat. Not a problem. Power Cleaned the 1st 5 (5th clean was ugly) and continental cleaned the 6th. Finished with about 15 seconds left, was going last in my class though, so shut it down after that. Definitely had a 7th in me, maybe an 8th, but probably not. I think it was about 220, but hey, maybe it was really 230, and I was just feeling it. These jerks were straight easy.
250 farmers for max distance with turns at 100 (felt a tad lighter, so IDK)
200 feet was the number to beat, no problem. Well until I made the 1st turn and ****ed up somehow, so I decided to just stop walking after the turn and reset. Risky move, but it worked. Was able to eek past and make that 2nd turn. Probably had 15ish more feet in me, but was in no mood to showboat, hah
Reverse Sled Drag/Prowler Push (low handles) 100ft each. IDK the weights, but this sucked. 90 sec time limit.
Nobody finished, so I needed to get like 45 feet with the prowler. The sled drag was brutal, right calf cramped up immediately on the start, so I basically rowed the sled the 1st half of the way, and then the calf cramp went away. Got to the prowler and just pushed, lol. Got low and blasted through the sticking point where people were getting stuck. When I looked up I knew I had the W, tried to go a little farther, but just had nothing left in the tank. Made it like 80 feet with the prowler. This medley was way too long.
290 per hand farmers dead.
20 was the number to beat, Brandon is a master at bouncing these things and my own stubbornness in training not bouncing them because I think it's gay cost me this event. I obviously tried bouncing them and bounced a few ok, but then would get off track and the right front would hit at the same time as the left rear, so I would have to slow down, etc. Was at 14 with 15 secs left. Could of strained out a few more, but definitely wasn't catching 20. 14 was all I needed to secure a W though. Brandon is probably a little better of a puller than me, but not by 3-4 reps, so if bouncing is allowed in a show, I need to practice it.
250 keg carry for 75 feet and then load to 54" for reps.
Had to load it once not to 0 the event, even if I 0d I would of won via count-back, but that's gay. I hate this event, and I was tired because this show was taking forever. 4 was the number to beat, but I pretty much made up my mind that I was doing 1 and quitting, lol. ****ing dropped the keg like 10 feet away from the platform, picked it back up, got to the platform, took my time and loaded it. Vince Urbank was like 45 seconds left(90 second timelimit) and I just laughed and said I was done. He gave me a strange look and laughed.
So that sums it up. Show took like 6 ****ing hours because everything was done one competitor at a time and because everything was max reps or distance, so the whole time was taken, plus having to reset ****. Oh well. 1st Open Win, so I am happy. On to train for the Europa now, where my goal is no 0s and to finish top half, but mainly no 0s, lol.
My new shoes came yesterday, they are sick btw.Bryan

I dont blame you for going for the 200's at nats. You have nearly 9 months to drop 20ish pounds so it shouldnt be too bad. My goal is to get to high 230's or very low 240's this summer.
That contest sounds long and pretty crazay on the endurance. I am guessing a ton of guys where cramping up pretty badly on some of those events.★cVc★
