I love BCAAs... I see a definite improvement in my overall recovery when I take them... Whether intra-workout, after workout, ot throughout the day on off days... I never thought they were "all that necessary" when I first started out lifting, until I started using them... Can't imagine not having them now... I just got done using SciVation Xtend (great product) but would love to try Atomic 7... 'Lectric Lemon Lime would be my choice...

I drink BCAA (xtend or recoverpro) everyday as I mix it with 3g of creatine and 4g of BA and drink it during work. On workout days I also drink it as a intra workout mixed with 3g of creatine, 4g of BA and 4g Citrulline Malate. Both my bcaa flavors are lemonade, I would love try a different flavor.

I am currently using my BCAA product to help get me thru my fasting period in the morning. Upon waking up I drink 2 servings of BCCAs thruout the morning and I don't break fast until noon. I believe the BCAA's help preserve muscle and the taste helps me not crave anything. I have been doing this for 3 weeks now. Without the BCAA's I am not sure I could go every morning without eating
I have never tried Atomic 7 but I have heard really good things bout it.

I currently use a BCAA product but running low. I drink it on cardio days and sometimes intra workout on lifting days. Flavor i'd like to try is watermelon. I would like to use this product as an intra workout on both lifting and cardio days

I first must say I am a runner more than a lifter (lift 3 times a week). I use my BCAA product primarily for my cardio days (currently on a cut) and I run anywhere from 5-10 miles per day. I currently use AEN Intrabolics which I like for recovery especially on my long runs of 10 miles. I would love to give black cherry bomb a try to see how it is for my recovery. I have read a few logs and it appears to be very promising for what it is intended to do.
Good luck to everyone that applies!

Atomic 7 has been a staple since it's arrival in the Universal line up. Love the stuff. Besides all the amino's flowing to my cells, and the extra goodies for better absorption, the flavor is just the best. Sipping water all the time can get old and it's nice to mix some up and drink some Razz Lemonade or Black Cherry from time to time.
This ain't no game....

Currently, I have the old formula of Xtend from Scivation. I tend to switch between the flavors of Orange and Lemonade.
I incorporate BCAAs into my training and diet, consuming 2 scoop (1 serving) through or during my workout/cardio, and
consuming a 2nd serving throughout my diet or post workout just between meals.
I have find that BCAAs have helped me to suspend my appetite between my meals especially right now, since I am on a caloric
deficit for my contest prep for my 1st Natural Bodybuilding competition on April 28th.
BCAAs also make drinking my water a LOT more appeasing and much more fun, rather than
drinking water with no flavor. I feel like BCAAs also helped me by assisting my macros in protein, etc, without
sacrificing any extra carbs and etc, EVEN THOUGH IT SHOULD NOT BE the MAIN source of my protein.
This is my first time incorporating BCAAs to my supplement and training regime, and I must say that it
does help especially when one is in a cut or caloric deficit.
Overall, BCAAs are something that I will continue to use and continue to incorporate in my fitness lifestyle.Hardwork beats talent

I use bcaas pre workout on lifting days. Really seems to help, and always looking to try new stuff.
Friday night. Date night in Miami. Every night is a date night in Miami, and everyone's having sex. But for me, sex never enters into it. I don't understand sex. Not that I have anything against women, and I certainly have an appropriate sensibility about men, but when it comes to the actual act of sex, it's always just seemed so undignified. But I have to play the game.

Big fan of using a bcaa, I have been training fasted 5 days a week and rely on bcaa to keep strength up. Going to do a mini cut next month and will be upping my bcaa intake.
Currently using xf ice lemon freeze and really like the profile. Have used xtend, recoverpro and xf ice only. I have been looking for a good watermelon flavor to use while working out.
On my cut I will be using bcaas during my workout and in between meals....

I currently also use BCAA's. I have bulk BCAA powder from Nutrabio which I'm using right now. I throw 10 Grams into my water bottle with a tiny bit of chocolate protein to mask the taste and sip it during my workout.

I am not currently using a BCAA, but when I do I enjoy it pre/intra workout. I feel it is nice to have something with flavor during a workout. I also sometimes find myself just sitting around I will use it for taste in my water to keep me from just drinking anything sugary.

On non-workout days, I mix BCAA powder with some water and take it to work and sip on it throughout the day. On workout days, I drink it immediately following a workout with maltodextrine and creatine. Right now, I am doing a 3x3 workout and I can tell a definitely difference between occasional days I forget the BCAAs and I may have to delay my next session from soreness.

I have never used BCAAs I have recently decided to incorporate it into my daily routine. I think I will go before bed and upon waking up then some throught the day. I dont take very many supplements but BCAAs seem to be one that is a real benefit. I work long hours behind a bar and sometimes can get to eating a meal as often as I would like but i hate the thought of muscle breakdown so Im hoping that the BCAAs can help with this!

Let me start out by saying this is an awsome promo!
But yea bcaa help alot weather if you take it durin or after a workout,i personally thinkg it helps endurance and gives you that extra push to get through your workouts in the gym. They provide improvement over all recover time aswell. which is a plus!
Some people say that they personaly take it cause it also helps them from not craving things during there day which is a bonus.
I honestly have not taken UNIVERSAL products in the past which i personally thinks is good cause if i do get choosen, what other product to try than UNIVERSAL. I have always herd good reviews over your products but havent purchased cause money is really really tight with me and can barely afford some whey protein.
I am currently cutting and here is a day example
meal 1: 2 scoops whey & 1 1/2 cups oats
meal 2: 8oz chicken or tilapia, 8oz sweet potato, 1 cup broccoli
meal 3: 2 scoops whey & 1 cup brown rice
meal 4: 8oz chicken or tilapia, 3 rice cakes, 1 cup broccoli
meal 5: 8oz chicken or tilapia, 8oz sweet potato, 1 cup broccoli
meal 6: 10 egg whites, 2 whole eggs
I would love to incorporate and add Atomic 7 Way Out Watermelon.
Thanks

I use bcaa's intra workout nearly every weekday. I have been using Xtend for a while, and am considering trying something new. The reason I incorporate this into my supplement regimen is to help speed up recovery, and so hopefully soreness doesn't hinder my ability to work other body parts out to the best of my ability. Thanks for the opportunity guys!

Nice! I've been in the Universal Nutrition Promo thread for some months, posting for Atomic 7 every week!
I use BCAAs everyday. & i usually sip them throughout the day. Like the poster above said about breakfast... man, on a cut, a great tasting BCAA product really helps stave off craving pangs (at least for those with a sweet tooth). Right now, I'm drinking Blox by BPI (SAAs)... great product... but im no fan of Fruit Punch! why oh why is everything these days Fruit Punch! haha.
With Atomic 7, I've had grape and lemon lime. Stoked to try out Watermelon or Black cherry. Watermelon is almost always my favorite... but so many people on the forums here do a good game talking up the Black cherry.
Im gonna quote my last post from the Universal Thread.
Hope i get picked for one of the 14 days.

Just recently started taking BCAA's. Currently using Xtend during my workouts to help endurance and reduce fatigue. On days where I lift I will use 2 scoops of new Xtend and drink throughout the workout. On off days I will sip 2 scoops between meals. I have only tried one BCAA product and would love to try a new one(Atomic 7 ) to compare with.

I use BCAA's intraworkout. I take a scoop of BCAAs and a scoop of EAA's and sip it throughout my workout. There have been many studies on the effeciveness of BCAA and EAA supplements, but most notable when that indicates Leucine works best in the company of other amino acids http://www.ergo-log.com/addedleucine.html

I've been using Purple Wraath.
I use it during my workouts and during cardio as well. I hit the gym 6 days a week, train 5 days and do cardio 3-4 days a week. Never tried Atomic 7 but I've heard good things from it.
Black Cherry Bomb sounds just that. Mmmm hope I'm lucky enough to get picked, thanks for the chance!

Cool promo with what appears to be a very good product.
I have used BCAA's in the past as both a pre and intra. AminoVital, Xtend and DNA (DNA was pre as it was in cap form) I found using BCAAs intra played a vital role in endurance and recovery. Usually would have 1/2 serving in the a.m. hours and full serving to serving and 1/2 intra during training.
Sadly, I have not used any BCAA product in sometime now (bad boy I am) but was getting ready to star with the DNA again.
Would like to see how Atomic7 would fit into the mix of things and help this old body shake off the DOMS a bit better.I'm back.......kinda.....sort of....

I'm currently using Recover Pro from AI sports Nutrition! I tend to take 2 scoops each time I workout and I drink it throughout my workout! It also says to take an additional serving throughout the day if I weigh 180lbs or more but I dont do that. I feel I get enough already since its filled with Leucine-4,000mg; Isoleucine-1,000mg;Valine-1,000mg. Also I'm usually pretty full after my workout and dont eat for a while after that. I dont really like the taste so I wouldnt enjoy drinking it again.. LOLL
Taking this BCAA help's my body, by it not being able to make these essential amino acids itself, therefore I must take it through supplementation/Diet.
-The Leucine helps with the inhibit of muscle protein breakdown! Also helps with regulation of protein turnover & energy metabolism! Great stuff!
-Isoleucine purpose is to be an Antioxidant!
-Last but not least Valine. It improves energy metabolism & protein synthesis. Also helps maintain MUSCLE STRENGTH during high intensity workouts!
Overall BCAA is great stuff to take during my workout it helps with muscle endurance & delaying fatigue. Also improves energy levels, immune system and recovery for muscles. And I'm sure much more if you haven't incorporated BCAA in your workout yet, you really should think twice about it!!
Automic 7 would be an awesome choice for BCAA since they have more ingredients that would help your body!Last edited by Overbeys; 01-26-2012 at 12:50 PM.

Nice promo NG!
I haven't used BCAA's in a while but I feel like it would not be a bad switch from my current training/supp regime. I always train first thing in the morning and I just have a scoop of protein and my preworkout supp, and then hit the gym. I prefer to not eat before my workout, and I think having some BCAA's instead of my regular whey would be a good changeup. It would be more even more 'fasted' training.
Also because Atomic 7 has Citrulline Malate, i figure that would be a great for my situation, as another performance booster along with my preworkout! And I am sure that it tastes yummy too**EX YU Mafia**
