In a bit of a pickle. My current job is leaving me without refrigeration across 8 hour shifts, no eating utensils, no place to eat other than my car, although I do have access to an entire grocery store. I have gotten lazy and have been buying premade sandwiches from the deli, but this goes against my values as I try to eat fairly unprocessed food and avoid cooking HCA's into my meats as well as avoid highly processed meats like hotdogs etc which have a high nitrate concentration and cancer correlation.
So the pickle is, what can one buy in a grocery store that can be eaten on the fly?
I am leaning towards keeping a loaf of bread in my car and purchasing roast beef from the deli, but I am concerned the deli roast beef will be over processed like everything else in the deli and just be a nice cancer sandwich instead. I've also done the cheesesticks and almonds, but gets old quick.

Holy retarded post ^^^
Meant to say: Get a cooler or a cooler bag (soft sided cooler) and some gel freezer packs.
I did this for YEARS when I worked in a warehouse. Pre-prepared all my food, and kept a can opener (for tuna) and utensils and paper napkins in my cooler. All the guys on my shift laughed at me for walking around all day with my cooler. Not a single f'k was given.
And these days they have pull top tuna so you don't even need the can opener.
Hot food won't be as easy, but you can do it if you want using a thermos and pre-heating it with hot water. Personally I am always too warm at work, so I prefer cold meals anyway.Insta: flexjs

I'm more looking for food I can buy off the shelf and eat immediately. Anyone can pack a lunch with a half dozen tupperwares, but those people don't have access to an entire grocery store.
