This thread is primarily for motivational purposes.
We got a good group here with a lot of helpful people so come join us.
I just need weights PM'd Every WED starting Feb 1st.
What I don't need is:
Pictures or measurments.
But feel free to post them yourselves.
This isn't a contest. Just a motivational thread where those people cutting are ranked by percentage of weight lost.

Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Hey guys and gals I saw this and thought id post it here. Im going to try it soon it sounds delicious and its only 500 calories.
Ultimate cutting breakfast - delicious, filling, low calorie pancakes (mancakes)
I made this for breakfast the last few days, and holy crap it's delicious AND filling. I was full for 3-4 hours after eating it, so I ended up skipping the mid-morning snack and going straight to lunch. I call them "mancakes" because they are manly compared to sissy pancakes.
The whole breakfast is about 500 calories.
Put the following in the blender:
1/2 cup oatmeal (150 calories)
1/3 cup Eggbeaters or egg whites (60 calories)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder of choice (110 calories)
2 heaping tablespoons of fat free cottage cheese (70 calories)
1/3 of a cup of water
Optional: To make them taste like IHOP's pumpkin pancakes, add 1 cup of a cooked sweet potato, some cinnamon, and some nutmeg. This also makes it much more filling. (80 calories)
Blend until smooth, adding water until you get a nice light batter. Fry em up in on the griddle, and add a 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries (50 calories). Use Walden's no calorie pancake syrup. Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

I went to the gym today and I must say even though I didnt set any personal records or have the strongest day I felt pretty good. I even did my first full hour of cardio straight through in a while and I didnt get gassed. Losing this weight is encouraging enough right now BUT when im where I want to be weight wise. Ill be happy to concentrate soley on strength increases.
