Well, don't seem to have any issues gaining weight these days. LOL. Up to 188.2 this morning.. Although I did have very salty Mexican last night. I was at the gym yesterday, doing db shoulder presses in front of the mirror, and I was a bit surprised looking at myself. Actually looks like I workout, lol. It was a cool moment I thought. Part of me really wants to continue the bulk because Im making amazing strength gains, but I am gaining weight too fast and my clothes are starting to get a little snug.

I'm about to head over to the gym that's affiliated with mine. I hope they'll let me in even though I don't have my 14 day traveling pass with me... Still no rigorous exercise, but I'm on my feet all day and I do fair amount of walking, depending on where we're filming, and I volunteer to lift heavier equipment whenever I can. I usually wake up at 4am and go to bed by 11pm, and we get Fridays and Saturdays off. I found my brother's scale the other day and my weight is up, but not by much.

it's my brother's first feature film, so i'm excited about that! our leads are known from film and tv - one starred in an oscar-winning movie, and another is an oscar winner herself... just typing that makes my heart race. other than that, no explosions or car chases, lol.

as for me, i'm a lowly person on set. i escort the actors to and from makeup, wardrobe, their trailers and the sets. bro asked me to take on a more challenging position but i didn't think i could hack it so i turned it down. i'm regretting the decision now, but i'm glad they have a more experienced person filling that role.

...they let me work out at the gym i mentioned earlier! successbaby.jpg

Ive been eating 5 - 7 servings of fruits and vegetables with my other foods for the last 3 days or so. Its a great way to feed the body and keep calories low. Ive been in a calorie deficit every day since without trying.

Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

I mentioned it earlier, but it's a low budget independent, so we don't have the resources or time. Big budget films might cover one part of one scene in a day, but we have to cover several scenes per day.

The Tuna pizza's are really tasty and healthy for you. I have been eating lots of these and my results speak for themselves.

    1 Large Wholemeal Pita Bread
    1 185g Tin of Tuna
    97% Fate Free Cottage Cheese
    Half an Onion
    1 Tomato
    Capsicum
    Mushrooms

    Add sauce to pita bread
    Add Tuna
    Add cottage cheese
Add tomato, onion, mushrooms and capsicum.
Cook in oven on 200 until you think it is ready
*Jelapeno added half way through cooking. When cooked top with cracked pepper.

    Talking MASSIVE refeed yesterday...

Someone with more knowledge and experience help me out with this:

I've been at a calorie deficit since 10 January. Yesterday was the first day I threw my hands up and said "Eff it, I'm hungry" and I totally SMASHED my normal daily calorie goal for a non-work out day (2000 on non-w/o, 2500 on w/o days). I woofed down over 3,600 cals yesterday 0_0. Macros looked like this: 3682 cals, 136 fat, 244 carbs, 241 pro. This included wine, mac'n'cheese, meatloaf, mashed potatos, moose tracks froyo with syrup!!! (Yum)

NOW, I weighed in at 234.6 yesterday. This morning...232.6! How does this work? Is it a leptin thing? Metabolism re-boot? How does something like this happen! I was so stuffed at the end of the day yesterday that I'm not hungry today. I'm killing myself for eating so much (psycho here) and I plan on taking out my own self-hate on the stair master later...

How important is a periodic refeed such as this? Thanks brah's!
    Current Lifts:

    Incline Bench: 205x3
    DeadLift: 405x1
    Box Squat: 325x4

    Goals by July 1:
    Incline Bench: 235
    Deadlift: 450
    Box Squat:375

In short, you're body lost water weight. Sometimes it's an electrolyte thing. Sometimes is a leptin/horomone thing. But eating more doesn't burn weight. It just signals your body to drop water weight.

Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Took some progress pics last week and I'm looking for some opinions/estimates. With my weight in these pics at 202-203, how much weight loss am I looking at to go before I have moderately visible abs? Not really looking to get "shredded" yet, just want to be at the point where I'm lean enough to change gears to recomping.

In other news, I'm shooting for the coveted sub-200 weigh in by this Wednesday. I got down to 200 flat in the October-December competition then bounced back up to 210+ because my metabolism and energy fell off a cliff, so I'm looking forward to being under 200 pounds for the first time since middle school.

Too many carbs this weekend but still around 2k with some treadmill work.

Up to 177lbs but it's water weight i'm guessing.

gotta say though my pants are fitting better today.

Morning all. Down to 190 this morning.

Been considering eating at maintenence for 2 weeks or so, I find myself getting overly irritated far too fast lately, and feeling really tired/fatigued in the mornings (Even after 8+ solid hours of sleep) - I've been eating at a deficit for roughly 18 months now, so it may be starting to finally catch up with me. Opinions on this?

Up to 189.4 this morning. So sore. Day 4 in a row of the gym. My chest hasn't fully recovered from Saturday, but going to hit it again. It was last July when I weighed this much. LOL

Do it. You'll gain a couple of pounds, but you'll look a bit better.
