HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LISA!
Or should I say, Happy 9th Anniversary of your 39th Birthday! (My family didn't manage to stop the clock at 29)
So sorry I missed this thread when it was as fresh as your cake.
Wait a minute, Lisa had to bake her own birthday cake? Sheesh! At least we know it's something she likes!
No way! I am expecting her to come to my 100th in 2063. I'll even bake the cake.
True that.
Where do they come up with these words? Someone needs to teach Canadians how to speak English!Peace: Lift Long and Prosper!
Alamagan Dågan - and proud of it!

Thanks for the bump Bando! Haven't made plans as yet. Crazy busy at work. Just glad to be home!
Why thank you, Friends! Nobody missed it - today was the day. And it was quite a day - I'm grateful for your warm greetings!
Aw... you'll make my head swell! Lovely of you both, really.
Cheeky beggar!
Speaking of tea, Mr Flexy got me the most beautiful set from Sloane Tea Company. It will be the most luxurious cup of tea I've ever had!No drama: You know where we are.

About the crazy busy work day... I really must speak with my parents about having children during reporting periods of public companies. Most inconvenient timing! ha ha!
My boss had to leave at noon today and we had tons to go over together. Commuter trains were all delayed 60-90 minutes on this -22C morning. Ugh. I finally got on the only train that was moving and headed to the city. We were jammed in and packed cheek to jowl! One lady remarked that she had been on the train for about an hour and a half. She said "And on this day of all days." I assume she had a busy day planned as well, but I replied to her "Exactly! Today is my birthday!" Well, all these strangers jammed onto the train car sang Happy Birthday to me. We all had a good laugh and it took the edge of the ghastly commute off of us! lol...No drama: You know where we are.
