FYI, technically that is a hammer strength H-Squat. It is a pretty big machine. You might want to lookup the specs of it, as it may factor in the decision on holding it until you resell it.

'Flip" it? Maybe with a crane.

That thing should be in HammerStrength's Hall of Shame. I believe it came into being while Gary Jones was out of the country on vacation at the beginning of April that year.

IF you have room to store it out of the way. I would tell the seller you will come and haul it off for him. No money though. Unless he is selling it to another gym most people do not have room in there home gyms to use that equipment. This is also something to consider if you decide to "flip" or resell the item. You will have very few people who have the room or the need for this machine.

First, that is an excellent leg press. It is just stupid, and dangerous, to have to climb up onto and then down off of it. I think the thing weighs over 900lbs. and is quite large. 8ft tall x 5 1/2 ft x 5 1/2 ft. Better think this purchase through before tackling.

His signature in his e-mail says he works for something Realty... Don't remember what it said, but this can't be a dude that had this at his house. I wonder if a gym went under and that's how they got the piece.

Plus he made mention in his ad as to how much it's worth brand new, so I dunno if this guy would let it go like what some of y'all are suggesting

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Yeah I think Hammer missed on that machine.

I remember one for sale here locally for about a year. Price started at 1200 and worked down to 400 eventually

I saw one of those on Sunday when I stopped into a local independent gym. I recognized it right away and had to laugh at how big it was. Of course, no one was using it.

I would only buy it if I owned an independent gym and could get it for a couple hundred dollars. The time and energy it takes to move a piece this big would make reasonably quick re-sale very difficult at best and probably unlikely.

I would love that piece. I could build probably 4 different standalone machines with those parts and they would be hammer strength quality of course .

Check out the 3:22 mark or so where he nearly slips between the uprights trying to get out. I think that kind of shows why the H-squat was abandoned. The H-squat is a 800lb lawsuit making machine.

I have never seen that before and wouldn't even want to get on that thing. Looks like I need to climb a ladder to get into that watchtower leg press..

    I would pass on it..

Well, at least, if you fell off, you would not damage the machine!

you must live around arkansas or close to it. i was dealing with this guy too, he tried to tell me it was a leg press as well. i had to email hammer strength directly to figure it out.

I do live in Arkansas actually... U too?

And yeah, I've e-mailed the guy back and forth a few times. I got him to cut to the chase since he was telling me to make an offer and he said he was looking for 1K, but he said he'd take 750 for it.

    No thanks Jeff
