No, will resume training on october 10th when i graduate, involved in intense training currently academically and physically. 13+ hr days, i am just exhausted by end of each day and training heavy would be silly and risk injury since i cant focus. So i train light still but not worth posting, hope you guys are all training well and i cant wait to get my life back and resume heavy training again soon enough with journalling!

Thanks mate, just got back into proper lifting only 2 weeks or so ago. Hadn't been training since training for my job. Been intense 3 months of exams, physical exercise and running. Just after 12-13 hr days i had nothing left to train with weights. Since i finished up with all my studies i am free to get back my life! Lifts are low lol but they will bounce back. Hope your training has been well
Thanks kid, training today~~~~~~~~~~

Good mate, the recruitment process and training was insane. I learned to work hard, studying long hours and always being switched on. Exams avg mark was 90% ish.. so pretty happy to dedicate myself so much. Time to get my life back though and enjoy getting stronger again and balancing work life/ weights. How have you been? any good milestones in last 3 months

HEAVY LOWER
TIME----------- Day
WEATHER----------22cC
MIND---------------8/10
----------------------------------------NOTES
--Been training last 2 weeks pretty hard, but still only getting stronger pretty much in the last week. Felt good today, squats feeling quite comfortable and smoother. Hit some singles as planned, but instead of back off sets of heavy paused reps, i just chose to go with a high rep set at 225. Which anything over 15 reps really made me work for it. I planned to stop at 15. But something inside me lit up, and told me do not put that weight down UNTIL you hit at least one more! I came up with the 16th and low back was burning, legs were burning, hamstrings were in pain. But i did 1 more for good measure. Gotto build to 20 on these. Knee didnt like the high reps but fuk the knee. Still sore but managing to work around it all the time now.
Warm Ups
-Light Lat Pull down--65x20 reps
Squats
135x6
225x2
275x2
315x1
325x1 (wraps)
330x1 (wraps)
Back Off Set
225x17 (no wraps)
--Upped volume weight a bit from last week, and this was good. Heavier and had to concentrate a lot more.
Light DB Swings
55x15
55x15
--Nice work to get the blood around the body after all the low body was sore
Light Lat Pulldown
65x15
65x15
--Back got tight from the high rep set, but this stretched and helped a lot

Fine session dude! That 330 squat flew up!
Sick repout with 225! anything over 5 sucks, but 17? damn!
What's the BW at these days?
that's awesome, must feel good to have gone through that! Any timeframe on employment?
Just finished up the summer cut, working on the reverse diet so I can get more food and build up for the winter. maxed squat and bench last week, hit 365 sq and 315 bench both at 175 BW. Not all time PRs, but definitely PRs at that low of a BWPRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Thanks woody mate, it felt slow but wasnt too bad looking back on it.
BW is around 203 now, dropped down to 196lb though. Want to get to 210lb. Eating it good last 3 weeks, eating 4.5- 5k day some heavy training days and loading up some good eats. I have been neglecting stretching a bit which is my own fault.
Yeh mate, so i start working nights which will begin Monday! Should be good working hours for me too, 5pm -2 am. so not bad. Good pay, close to 60k. So looking forward to it. But not going to let it consume my life.
Good job on the cut, and wow at the amazing 315 @ 175lb scary strong.
Thanks mah man, was fun session thats for sure and feels good being back
Cheers man, appreciate it.
I thought no mucking round with anything under 3 plates for a single, time to load up and push forward. The body can learn to love heavy lifting again~~~~~~~~~~

TIME----------- night
WEATHER----------16C
MIND---------------8/10
----------------------------------------NOTES
--Good session, smashed out some benching,. this lift went down massively and only trying to rebuild with some moderate - heavy work but nothing where its severe grinding.. I hit some solid rep work overhead and then sticking to easy reps after. Im sticking to 135 on OHP for a while till i can use it as play weight again for high rep sets.
Warm Ups
-Light Lat Pull down--65x20 reps
Bench Press
135x6
185x3
200x3
225x1
245x1 ---> more reps but stuck to single
(Back Off Set)

This lift is starting to feel much stronger using submaximal weight
Light Lat Pull Down
65x25

Interesting take on your SOHP plan. Not sure if I would do the same. For me personally strength builds reps. Therefor if I stick to the same weight I can't increase my rep strength as much as increasing overall weight would. If that makes sense.
Not sure what weight you were using on your layoff but to be able to rep 225 like that on bench after a heavier singles is a good sign to me! Nice work bro.Journal: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139898123&page=240

awesome benching dude! Good to hear there was more in the tank on that 245 single. Awesome back off sets with 225, nice to get some volume in!
Throwing around 135 Overhead for some nice reps after the bench work is kickass!PRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

That was a great press session, sir! Have you considered possibly microloading, so that you're always pushing forward, but not at 5lb jumps?

Hell yeah Chris, welcome back!!! Congrats on the graduation. What's the next step school/career wise?
Awesome to see you back lifting again. The lifts might be relatively low, but they're gonna shoot back up, especially since it sounds like you stayed in shape with other training, just didn't do any heavy lifting. What is your weight now?Powerlifting Log - http://tinyurl.com/jshaw5

Thanks man, its not a real long term plan for now. Im trying to just get work in and reps in and take advantage of having no real structure for the next month or so. I feel i can still add strength and have been getting stonger just mucking round a bit with rep and sets schemes. But it will only last for about a month or so then it will be back to proper structure in terms of % and sets and reps. This is by no means a permanent change in my programming. Ill settle down soon enough.
Love being back bro, should be good to get our deads back into high 500s
Cheers, woody.
Appreciate the words, just trying to rebuild and slowy push upwards with no real structure but even though this is only going to last another month or so, by that time my numbers will be up around 90% again and i can re program properly!
I have my man!,. i have micro plates and when the numbers on OHP get tough again ill use them for sure. Right now all strength is coming back nicely with 10lb jumps on some lifts so i might hold out for now
Thanks man, so i have all studied and graduated now im deployed around the central city region for 3 months. Its a law enforcement role but cant be too specific on a public forum. Its good fun though.
Thanks again Josh, yeh i stayed in reasonable knick. Worked on lots of running and agility work, dropped to around 196 even slightly lower some points. But it made running so much easier at that weight from 205lb. Noticeably easier.. If i dropped to 175 i recon i could be something special. Ashame i didnt maintain heavy lifting but the stress of exams and pracs were very mentally draining and if i failed meant i could be out of a job. Back up to around 200 ish right NOW maybe bit more after the 12 beef ribs i had last night
Thanks Matey, i hope they will too. Hope ur well too~~~~~~~~~~

HEAVY LOWER
TIME----------- Night
WEATHER---------15C
MIND---------------9/10
----------------------------------------NOTES
--Big sleep in today which was nice, i am really up and about for the workout. Did some good stretching and some 12 beef ribs today again. I love loading on these. The meat literally fell off the bone. Amazing. Wrapped up and got out some nice squats. These were little tougher than i thought they would be but still pushed out some nice reps and really was happy about it. Smashed some deadlifts too for triple at 405. Not overly hard but sweaty hands and no chalk made grip slip a bit. Still was nice feeling.

315x5 ---> w/wraps
