Give me a few days to a week and I should have mine, ordered mine from my rep a few weeks ago and they had to get them in still.

As far as I know they only come in red, but several of the pics of the prototypes make them look orange, probably due to the lighting.

I have Adidas power perfect 2 ( my first oly shoes). Today I try same oly squats.... Feeling is 10000x better then in normal shoes.
I highly recommend.

nike 2 weightlifting shoes come out on sunday. i heard they're gonna look a LOT like the existing romaleos. most of their changes were functional rather than aesthetic.

I've also heard they will offer some different color schemes. I just got a pair of the older Romaleo's (b/c they were on sale), and will try them out tomorrow!!

I wouldn't mind seeing what they look like. Mostly, the Nike 2's will be lighter as many people have complained that the originals were too heavy. After trying mine on, they feel about the same as my DoWins.

they better have different colour schemes or else people are gonna get scammed not knowing if they got a pair of original romaleos or the new ones.



damn i cant believe just those couple black lines make the shoe look 100x better, tempted to go with the romaleos since it has a tarsal strap

guy at the local crossfit gym where i do my Oly work just got a pair last week, they are da secks in person... seriously they look great, and the guy loves them. he basically said they are like a middle ground between a standard Oly shoe and the new Reebok shoes, semi flexible toe with some stiffness to them like an Oly shoe

i decided to go ahead and get myself a pair of the adiPowers. they arrived last week and i've had two workouts in them. the shoe is true to adidas fitting. narrower toe-box and a little snug at the arch compared to my old shoes (pendlay 2010's), but my feet are probably wider than average. the toe flexibility is very good, the heel height is similar or maybe a little higher than pendlay 2010's, and the weight of the shoe is pretty damn light for a weightlifting shoe.

color-wise, yeah it's like an orange-ish red. it's mostly red, but not straight up crimson red.

got them....they're just not for me. my guy has been lifting in them and he loves them. only problem with them is they're slightly too big. he's normally a 9.5 so I ordered a 9 and those are about a thumbs width still too big.

what i did was i went to the local Big 5 and tried on a pair of adidas tennis shoes, found what size fitted best, then that's the size i ordered for my adiPowers. that worked out well for me.

btw here's a video of some crappy lifting i did in my new shoes. gah i suck.... but the shoes are cool.

Ordered mine on Wed afternoon and got them this morning. They are sooo much better than my Do-Wins. Way better in quality, support and looks.
