Its hard to tell from this pic how big his leg is here, Phils leg is being inflated by the side of the red bench which is pushing his hams at a 45 degree angle into his quads which is giving a false impression of size (Phil does have good quads though even without the bench), this is backed up by Phils calfs look smallish in this pic, the calfs out of range of the bench. Good pic but not the best for demonstrating how good Phils quads are.

Branch and kai still reign supreme, allthough not by much over heath, wolf lacks the detail and pop, along with hams and calves compared to the others.

Haven't seen this pic before and didn't know that his legs were this awesome!

This and the other leg pictures of him taken in the gym are from the FLEX 2010 issue pages 189-200. Just sayin'

He might lack the feathering but he actually has deeper seperation and more detail on his legs than most of the other guys.

From the side Phil competes with anyone in the leg department. Him and Wolf's are the best from the side quads wise.

I think they were meaning in the side quarter turn/relaxed shot.

Obviously Kais legs dominate in the side chest and tri.

Phil is more like a Flex Wheeler/Levrone hybrid... Flex was not noted for great legs (although from the side they were fantastic in shape and insertion), in fact the were a little smallish but they werent LACKING or a DETRIMENT to his physique overal, (and Levrones were great until injuries stoped him from heavy squating) While Kai is like a Ronnie, with sacks of leg meat hanging off the bone just drip drop dripin.

Phil's legs arent "weak" but put them next to Kai's,Centopani's,Branche's, or any other legs freak..and you can see why MROlympia has to put in some extra work. Just bein honest, Arnold had some weak ass calves at one point, but he actualy turned them into show stoppers!

Phils legs are passable,not a "weakness", but in a lineup they wont be attracting attention, i mean you cant have it all, but the potential for Phil to have bigger legs is there. I wouldnt mind him getting bigger legs so long as it's done in a smart injury free manner (no victor martinez)

Lol lacking the pop in quads is least of Dennis Wolf's concerns right after the size of his shoulders and traps.

Phil has great legs but they are not tops. However, I have a feeling it's just a matter of time before they get bigger and mature and they start feathering. But.. is it possible for feathering to come in later throughout his development? Maybe not eh?

Phil is the king of making quick improvements and he's still a kid in pro BBing. By this time Phil masters his entire physique which hes pretty much got the upper body on lock, he just needs to focus more on legs and do the crazy kinda **** Ronnie and Kai do.
