or do you think that he knows his weaknesses and hes working not hard but smart to bring them up?
Look, the man has the all american look. One look at his face, his eyes and his very healthy complexion shows a man that has the face to bring bodybuilding mainstream. He has all american calves and that badass gym rat look when hes in his hardcore workouts. But he has flaws. He is not Dorian Yates or Jay Cutler. In fact, judging by his last show, I cant see him blowing away BenPak Beyeke Wolf or Kuclo. Esp Kuclo because Steve has a balanced filled out physique, Steve also has that all american look. But really, the only new upcoming pro that looks like he has the potential to beat Heath is Evan Centopani because he looks like a big baby. Meaning he can fill out a hell of alot more and hes already damned good but certainly cannot beat Warren Heath or Kai just yet.
So, Evan's flaws seem to me to be bicep peak(not mass, hes got really thick biceps but they dont jump off the bone much when he flexes). I believe that he'll never have Ronnie Coleman biceps but he can develop much much more peak. But the glaring flaw to me seems to be his lat width. Give Evan wider lats that spread far out from his ribcage and hes a solid top 3 pro this fall. His lats are very thick and his back looks nice but he need much more width. He seems to be extremely exposed in the front double bicep pose. No way he can win the O or the Arnold with that weak pose.
Do you believe he has any other weakness? Do you think he can overcome his weakness? Will he or can he? Do you think he can win the big show one day? I think hes got the right direction but one look at his front double bicep pose tells me that hes still not mentally ready. There is a whole new level of training he needs because it's gonna take a hell of alot of work to bring in lat width.
will he be exposed as someone who is done progressing? Do you believe hes already progressed in the front double bicep pose?

We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.

firstly, having one weak shot will not win or lose you a contest. though i do agree evan is weak in the fdb.
secondly, yes i do believe he can go all the way.
thirdly, he definately needs more width and wedge to his back.
lastly, i quite enjoyed the op's post. it was entertaining.Natural Bodybuilding - The Lonely Journey

I doubt that's a torn lat. I'm sure Ronnie had something similar looking going on his entire career or at least from about 1998 that I can remember.
Evan had the same thing going on in 07 here compared to his back in 09 at the NY Pro.
EPO all in my veins; Lately things just don’t seem the same; Actin’ funny, but I don’t know why; ’Scuse me while I pass this guy.
