I'm interested in Greens supplements.
I have been taking MVP's MycoGreen capsules for a while. I understand that I will not feel a difference when taking greens; It's more of a overall-health oriented supplement.
I really don't have an immediate reason for taking a greens supplement other than wanting to be as healthy as I can be..
I just came across a very expensive Green Vibrance bulk tub for a great deal locally, so I bought it. (by the way, this stuff is basically the king of all green supplements and it's ingredient profile shuts every other green supp down including CL)
What are your personal opinions on greens supplements?

I know quite a few members who use a greens supplement regularly. Check out Controlled Labs Oximega Greens. You can never go wrong with any CL products. I have heard nothing but great things about the Oximega Greens and I hear they taste great

I've been using Green Vibrance daily for about 3 years. No undisclosed prop blends at all, and the company has invested a lot of $ and time into research and studying to continue to improve their products. Great conpany, great product. I will never stop using Green Vibrance. Wouldn't substitute it for anything, I think it's the best greens product out there.

i understand that you are trying to pimp your product like any rep does,
but myco-green is not the main product i am attempting to discuss in this thread; green vibrance is. ontop of that, green vibrance shuts your product down. look at the ingredient profile
secondly, i made this thread mainly with intentions of discussing green supplements in general and not specific products
your response really tainted/ruined this thread in my opinion. especially your original response before it was edited. i would neg you if it mattered.Drug free is the way to be (srs)

Oh, and I've seen a lot of Green Vibrance lovers in my day. My PERSONAL preference is Mycogreen, for very specific personal reasons, followed by SAN's product. I'll put BOTH up against Green Vibrance any time.~ Roast Master, Resident Coffee Warlock~

I get concerned that people are looking to replace too much of their vegetable intake with a supplement, which shouldnt be the case.
It isnt an excuse to not eat vegetables.Last edited by powercage; 01-06-2012 at 07:36 PM.

Man you the one that left your thread open for pimpin. Actually I thought poison's post was in-line with what you are talking about?
Anyways don't understand the rage with green supps. Just got done eating a salad and I think I might go eat another. Just something about drinking veggies when I can go eat the real thing.

It is a bit pricey. I am using it now. It is a very solid product(outside taste lol). I do wonder how many of these microbes survive to colonize in the intestinal tract...Vibrance has 25 billion(which is awesome). I wonder this for all greens products though.
EDIT: I wonder that about probiotics period(enteric coated or not). I am skeptical lol.
I do. No big deal. Throw it in the door, it is there when you need it.Trust the Process

I use 4oz water, 4oz apple juice. Texture is perfect and the taste is decent, definitely tolerable enough to drink with no problems. But I have to take into consideration that I've used this stuff for about 3 years so I've definitely become immune to the taste. I like mines at 9am, 2 hours after my breakfast. I've never consumed more than 1 serving in a day.

This ^^^^ Green Vibrance has a really good formula, just compare. Taste is fine in crystal light or in a shake. I make a shake most mornings with Tropical Punch Iso Whey (Universal) a banana, blueberries & Green Vibrance and it tastes good and is packed with nutrition.

Love me my fruits and veggies, but its nice to round everything off with a greens supp. Iv'e only had experience with oximega greens, which i currently take, and the taste alone is hard to beat. the spearmint makes it very drinkable.

I love Emerald Balance for my greens supplement. I tried alot of others including CL oximega and Green Vibrance but I could not get past the taste. I will admit that green vibrance has the best profile but if I can't tolerate to drink it then why use it. Emerald balance tastes so good that I have to watch myself drinking 2 or 3 servings a day.
If I don't have time to eat a meal due to my work hours I love my blendtec to blend/pulverize my veggies into a great shake so I can get my fruits and veggies. For those who hate spinach you can make spinach ice cream that sounds horrible but tastes so good.

When you guys say you 'like green vibrance the best.' Do you guys notice a difference from product to product (energy, feel better, mood, immune support), or you just like the profile better? I've been thinking about picking up a greens product lately and would appreciate the insight.

If you spend as much per serving on Oximega as you do Green Vibrance, you have roughly equivalent levels and the taste of Oximega. I still dont see the reason for dosing that high from supplemental vegetable intake tho.

I bought oximega greens for my parents, since its tough to convince them to diet like I do. Because their veggie intake can sometimes be way too low and unbalanced, the most noticable benefit is the improved digestion which they had trouble with. Im still working on improving their diet though, as its silly to just try to substitute your veggie intake with a green supplement.
Real veggies + supplement with a greens product like OG or GV is the way to go. Too many people rely just on OG or GV

I don't "feel" anything. With college, work, baby soon, I only get solid veggie intake 2-3 days a week. I bought it for the profile. I like the 25 billion cfu's on the microbes w/about every greens ingredient imaginable in one small scoop. I also get a discount on it tbh.
CL's profile looks solid, and I may try it in the future, but I don't agree with making green vibrance seem like a bad product bc it has "too much" good stuff. I agree on whole food being better than greens/protein/multis/fish oils, but the insurance is nice.
Live laugh love lol
Edit: my discount is like online price basically, no shipping. Nothing crazy.Trust the Process
