Thanks.
small revision to the above challenge...it also includes anything in a box or a bag - except oatmeal, beans (will be rinsed before eating), pre-cut lettuce, frozen fish and/or veggies. Everything else bubbbbbye.
Over the Holidays I spent a lot of time re-evaluating, as if I haven't been in the weeks prior but since I wasn't working I had a lot more free time to think. When I was younger and fabulously fit my mom often reminded me how hard I worked to look that way. I remeber every time she would say that I would think to myself "I do?". It was never hard work and I took it for granted. Partly because I enjoyed what I was doing (working out etc) but also because I was lucky. I always thought it would be that easy. If I wanted to get into an extra fitted out-fit, it would take me a week, 2 max to have it fitting amazingly. The point is, that this time I KNOW how hard I will have worked (literally) to look the way I do and I will be proud of it but will also be empathetic to those who struggle.
I saw part of the movie Soul Surfer last night, if she can overcome and WIN her obstacle I sure as hell can overcome some bad habits.
Talk is cheap. You'll see

Hey, chickness!!!!
Glad to find ya here! Sub'd.
Is this the same boot camp you did this past fall?
Was pretty good, if I remember right ... I would not want to be outside right now, though.
It is cold as Eff here. Can't even imagine what the temp is up there! What's Going on in My Fitness Life: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=148175393

Yep same boot camp but it will be indoors until it gets warmer out. Yesterday was -22 Celsius ... frickn freeeeezing. Today is -9 but tomorrow will be 5 ....our weather is so messed! lol Hardly any snow though YAY!
Last night I met with trainer Angie (yea she is going to be training me one on one once a week when bootcamp starts. Right now we are meeting when we can). Last nights work out was a good one. My cardio sucks - we both agreed lol - so we will be working on that too. I was happy to hear that she said I had a nice shape I just need to lose some fat in some spots and I'll be rockn
Here is last night's workout....not in order....
Ran through this twice
Treadmill
Run 5min @ 5.0
Walk 2min
Put incline to 3.5 at 3.2 pace
Lifting weights at the same time 8lbs, hammer curls, shoulder press, overhead tricep extension.
W.G. Lat pulldowns 40x12
reverse, close grip lat pull downs 40 x12
Warrior III into crunch with 5lbs x 10/side
Get up with 8lbs x10 per side (like a Turkish get up but no use of other hand or knee - go from flat back to standing)
Wood chops x 12 per side (I didn't pay attention to weight)
Treadmill
Run 5min @ 5.0
Walk 2min
Put incline to 3.5 at 3.2 pace
Lifting weights at the same time 8lbs, hammer curls, shoulder press, overhead tricep extension.
Voila! Bootcamp starts in 6 days!!! I really don't think it's going to be any easier lol since every Tuesday is "cardio killer" and mine sucks lol
