I'm alive, guys!
Just wanted to pop in and say that I'm still alive, I'm still lifting, and I'm still making dem gainz . I've been running extremely busy lately, so this kind of stuff has taken a back seat. But things have been going well and I'm getting back to 100% health! Still have a ways to go, but I am muuuuuch improved.
I most likely won't start logging again anytime soon (if ever), so I thought I'd drop a quick update just to let you all know I haven't keeled over and died .*Professional comic book geek* *semi-pro cartoon collector* *full time nerd*

Glad to hear you're still plugging away Billy, I follow along your normal exploits on FB pretty regularly. How long do you think before your digestion is fully back to par?

Doing my best to make dem gainz, brah .
It's getting better and better, but I would say probably another 3-6 months at least. Some days it's better than others, but I'm curious to see how everything is/feels once I try to get off my ppi's. Not looking forward to that lol.*Professional comic book geek* *semi-pro cartoon collector* *full time nerd*

I know what you're thinking: OP is alive?! Srs?? Lol. Just popping in to update and for a little advice. I've been running 5/3/1 and making awesome progress. I got my squat up to 300 max (clean) and was killing it as far as progress goes. I woke up about a week ago and my back was tight. From there is started to hurt pretty bad (low back). Mind you, I didn't do anything or notice anything while lifting, and the pain/tightness didn't start until the day after an off day. Anyway, I'm deloading this week and it is still bothering me somewhat. Squatting does not hurt (though I haven't squatted at all this week) and it really only bothers me if I sit for too long or bend over the wrong way. Can anyone relate? I think it may be an overuse type injury/strain because the majority of my accessory work was pulling/lat movements. I was also doing all my BBB sets without a belt as per Wendler's recommendations.
Any advices would be appreciated, brahs*Professional comic book geek* *semi-pro cartoon collector* *full time nerd*

Glad you're alive bro. Thought you might have caught ebola from those old TMNT Tapes you found at the good will store
As far as your back goes. The only way I can relate is that my back will be completely fine for weeks/months and then all of a sudden lock up (always in the same spot) and render me useless. So maybe it will just go away like mine does and show up every now and then. /DRJP★★★ RSP Nutrition Lead Representative ★★★

If you were doing too much pulling (especially vertical), your lats might be overactive and thus pulling you into excessive extension. Extension based back pain is typical, especially among athletes and weightlifters who exhibit an anterior pelvic tilt due to over developed erectors and under developed/active glutes.

Lol. No ebola here! Still some stomach s*** going on, but hey, what's new .
I hope that isn't the case, but if it is, I'll just do what I can. Thank you kindly, Doctor! lol
That certainly makes sense. And my posterior chain (glutes/hams) have always been weaker and I am more quad dominant. It could be a possibility! Any mobility drills you recommend to help with this?*Professional comic book geek* *semi-pro cartoon collector* *full time nerd*
