not sure if this is deserving of bragging, but definitely commitment...
I went out with a friend and had two glasses of chardonnay...then came home and ran two miles on my treadmill...
Should I brag? maybe not, but dammit I'm going to get this done one way or the other!!
LOLI'm never gonna be this fat again...

Hi All, I am joining your team as an amazon in training. And I'll second that you bitches are strong. I am a little afraid of being the new guy and getting beat up! But being that this is the internet, well that is not possible. I just started my second "improvement" phase, I read somewhere that we are supposed to call it that instead of bulk, but whatever, I'm gettin' chunky. I realized last night at 10pm when I was stuffing a cinnamon roll in my mouth in the name of low blood sugar that I need to take the improvement down a notch. But when I lift hard I am so hungry!
Goals: DL current 1R 195 > Goal 225
Squat 160 > 200
Wide grip pullups BW 5> goal 10
I wish some of you ladies were in my area as I could really use a lifting partner. I am surrounded mainly by men over 60. The funny thing is none of the younger guys in the gym will talk to me but all the old men come up and chat all the time. I'm thinking its because I have this kinda business only look on my face at the gym and the younger people probably think I am a little mean.
Anyway looking forward to a great year!____________________________

Welcome SJBC, no beating up BUT if you walk away to get a sip of water we will switch out your 45 plates with 35s in the squat rack for the lulz.

Thank you! If I knew how to use the icons I would be blushing right now. I was proud to add your tag to my signature and I can't wait for the tank tops to make their debut.
And if you don't have a journal yet you should start one. Not a requirement, but always a good thing. You've got some pretty impressive numbers there Welcome!
I'm not quit sure what the whole journaling thing is about but I'll read a couple and get the idea. I keep a small notebook with me all the time. I track food/moods/misc thoughts when it strikes me or I'm on a serious tear about one thing or another. I guess I can just throw it online.
I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all better. You have to train your mind the same way you train your body. You must protect it against the negative and feed it with the positive. Be mindful of what you watch, what you read and who you allow to influence you. Learn to consider your thoughts emotions and actions. Trust your gut face your fears head on and never quit. AJ Roberts

We all use them to vent and track and get others opinions, and maybe sometimes mess around Kinda keeping yourself in check, but out in public. Where other people can see and give advice/encouragement etc.
For me it's a good way to stay accountable. I know I can do it for myself, but I like positive reinforcement from others too.Current Log:

Yup, couple different companies have a cinn roll/bun protein. Mines XF Up, but I know Myo's new Probiotic has Cinn Roll and I think Trutein does as well. I'll report back once I've tried it. I needed a change from CPB and Vanilla!\
Still something to brag about. Its amazing how the body feels on "normal" food. I notice the fat and sodium the most. I was super dehydrated the day after I ate out! Glad your body is feeling better!Current Log:
