I never saw the movie but also thought the Hangover was a terrible a movie. From the trailers it looked like a stupid movie even though I'm a big fan of Will Ferrel.

Yeah I usually don't find movies like that particularly funny and avoided Step Brothers for a while because I thought I'd hate it, but ended up watching it when it came on Foxtel one day and laughed my ass off from beginning to end. Seriously had tears in my eyes at certain points. Sometimes you just can't predict what you'll find funny. I think a lot of it had to do with I couldn't remember anything from the ads so the whole movie was fresh, I hadn't heard most of the funniest jokes already ect.
Was the same with Zoolander, now I probably watch that at least once a month lol

Nothing wrong with you not liking said films (I enjoyed all of them immensely) but you have to try and name some films that you would consider funny or were gonna think your a wanker (no hate). To be fair also, the hangover, step brothers etc. are films that are meant to be FUN and funny, vs. say a film like The Big Lebowski that was a more stylistic comedy.
