Hey storm thanks for the welcome.
A little about who schmack is.
I am 36 years young but have always been active in sports related events. I am happily married with two kids Laylah (5) and Leland (2). Boy on far right is my nephew. Pic of us in Maine.
Played Pop warner Football and HS football which introduced me to the HS lifting coach in 8th grade. I fell in love with it and that is where the Iron and I started our relationship LOL! At the start I only knew about the iron and never considered nutrition. My main objective was to go heavy or go home and be as big as possible. Since becoming a member on bb I have learned that a good nutrition plan and lifting goes hand in hand. Currently I am on a bulk and on Jan 2nd I will start cutting. I am also active in the mountain bike scene (xcountry) and xterra offroad triathlon/dualthlons.
Met a ton of people here with huge support and knowledge and I hope it continues this way. I also met a bunch of great peeps IRL at the 2010 Mr. Olympia and some good times were had.
Anywho this is me in a few sentences and I am following up with todays Legs routine.

Legs and calves
Had my Physical therapy for my shoulder this morning and then did legs after it. I got the clear to lift up to 80 percent of my max with upper body but stay away from scarecrows is what they said. Word nomsayin!
Girl who was my PTA today was a girl I went to HS with. She look good too.

I just started these a few days ago. I could have easily did 185 but I am still learning the mechanics of this motion and hand placement.
Funny thing since these force me to squat ATG, the back of my shorts ripped apart. I did 3 reps with it ripping more at each rep, so hard not to laugh. Lucky I had a spare set in my gym bag.

Training: I was doing DoggCrapp training system for 8 weeks and am currently taking a short break from it and following the training program of my favorite pro: Kai Greene.
I will continue to do Kai's program for another week and a half or so, then jump back on DC training. I'm hoping the ProMera package will arrive in time for my reunion with DC.
On the cardio tip, I'm a huge fan of HIIT training for running, and ab circuits. HIIT isn't as boring as regular LISS aka boring as hellz cardio.

I must have wrote it wrong, 80 percent for my upper body but 100 percent for lower body so 10 plates not so good BTW the 10 plates is total, 5 each side

Overall, not a bad day. Of course like schmack mentioned....it was noobz day at the gym; I expect this to increase tomorrow and over the next couple of weeks. Then it will go back to normal. The incline bench focus at the end felt wonderful, upper chest is a weaker area so felt good to focus on that.

I hear ya been working on it for a while and patience is you best friend. Keep at it and do it with full rom. I made the mistake of repping slightly above parallel when I first started and my glute/hammy suffered the consequences. As long as you do it right and feel it at the end of workout is all that matters.

Strong 225 close grip bench. For some reason I can only do 185 on that one but 315 plus with regular bench.
Nice routine I'm gonna probably start dedicating arms day instead of doing them at end of chest and back routines.
