Athlete mode vs Normal mode for Homedics Bodyfat Scale?

What is the difference? I know as people who train at the gym, we are all athletes, but I really feel like it is subjective...what if you stop working out hardcore for a few months...should you change the mode to normal mode?

Those scales are inaccurate. For the sake of measuring progress, leave settings the same so you get consistent feedback.
