Creeping up on that 1 year mark... Updated 6/9 pics.
So, at my heaviest I was 370-375ish. I have a couple of those pics attached. I lost some weight and then was down to around 310 (initial pics on my bb.com progress photos).
As of 6/9/12 I weighed in at 217.8lbs.... Pretty happy with what I have been able to do, but I know I still have a ways to go. Trying to just lost as much fat as possible, while gaining more muscle. It's a fine line, but I think I am getting there.
Love this thread, have followed it for quite some time....
Keep it up fellas!Peak weight - 370lbs
July 18th, 2011 - 310lbs
January 23rd, 2012 - 229lbs
March 1st, 2012 - 223.6lbs
April 14th 2012 - 221.6lbs
June 1st 2012 - 219.6lbs
July 18th 2012 - 216.2 (one year anniversary!)

Fantastic job everyone. Seriously, seeing your progress is keeping me going.
Here is a quick update of my progress. I posted a similar picture a few days ago but the date was wrong on the original so I am posting it again with an update in progress and fixed date.
The last date is June 13 and my weight is 208 lbs. Sorry for it being blurry.

Thank you. A year ago I started looking at this forum hoping like hell that I could do what others had done. Blood, sweat and tears brother! Simple but not easy, I found that consistency was and continues to be the most important facet of my journey. Read, ask questions, research, experiment and never give up!

Great job everyone! This thread is so motivational, I love it!
Anyone want to try and work together to reach goals? I.E. keep in touch and stay accountable type of thing? I am 6'1" 238 at the moment, goal is ~200lbs by October. Anyone with similar goals/stats want to team up with me? My biggest problem is I dont stay accountable to myself haha

9.5 weeks into my transformation
Hey everyone, I just joined this sight and stumbled upon this thread. I just wanted to say these people have done amazing things. Helps me press on to reach my goals.
My current stats are 202.6, 5'9", and around 18-19% body fat. When I started 9 1/2 weeks ago I was ~230lbs and ~31% body fat. Pictures on my dashboard :-)
My goal is to compete in an INBF next may. I have a long way to go, but I know I can make it. So can all of you

I am not sure of my "before" bodyfat, but assuming the 24 lbs I lost was all fat, then it was probably about 20%. I am 7% now.
Ran 20-30 miles a week, and cut down on food for the first 9 months. 1/2 of my weight loss was from eating less, and 1/2 was from running. I did no weight training at all for those months. I ran in the Boston Marathon - 89 degree temps this year, and finished it in a bit over 4 hours.
About 3 months ago, changed my diet radically and started resistance training. I log every gram of food and keep fat at 20-30% of calories, carb at 40-55%, and protein at 25-40%.
Now I wish I had been lifting all along rather than just for the last three months as I would be farther along. Because I am so early in my weight training, I expect a lot more improvement.
Height 5' 8.7", weight at heaviest - 164 (still 6 lbs under what the government consideres overweight - ha! Govt standard are too lax), weight now - 140. 43 years old, and in way better shape than I ever was while younger.
I am a new user so the site won't let me post the photos:

I SO needed to see the word consistency today! I keep reading and seeing if I need to change anything I am doing but every thing I read everywhere I am doing exactly what I should be doing! I have been stuck at my current weight for 5 or 6 months, but I continue to drop inches. People (specifically on these boards) tell me there is no way at my weight and height that I am 18% body fat....maybe I am crazy but something in my head is telling me I am doing something right! Guess I need to suck it up and post pics that aren't over a year old!
