I will admit that I have had a lot of struggles with sweets, particularly around this time of year, and I did end up cheating (or binging) quite a bit this past week or so... but, despite all that, even at the height of eating, I still looked lean in the mirror... even with all the food in my gut. And that felt really good, and I kind of just made the decision that it is not worth it to eat all that garbage anymore... because it always makes me feel so disgusting afterwards. Even if I don't go overboard... eating clean just feels so much better. Always.
So, it's not yet into full practice, and I'll see how it goes... but my next cheat days will less and less eventful, I think. Let's hope 2012 brings a good change, for us all! Good luck!Sept 2010: 248.8 lbs
Nov 2011: 162 lbs
Dec 2011: 172 lbs (mini bulk, and a few holiday cheats)
Jan 2012: cutting again....
Hmm... somebody's traveling light!... Meh, maybe you're getting stronger.... Well, I have been eating more!

I just want to say thanks to all who posted their stories & transformation pictures in here & the last thread. I hope to post my own transformation sometime this year & would like to wish everybody else wanting to do so all the best & post your transformations to keep the motivation going.
Also, amazing transformation nicole & just goes to show how different a person can look. Amazing job & love the off season look, not fond of the extremely lean look on females but really 100% admire the dedication & sacrifice you put in so wish you all the best with your goals in 2011!

gnarly work everyone! keep on keepin on.
high school graduation, 2007, 220lbs. wasn't even my heaviest point, got up to around 230lbs in 2008. when i look back to that now it feels like i'm remembering a previous life...
october 2011, 160lbs. still have a ways to go before i reach my goal of 130lbs (still feeling a bit... squishy lol) but i can definitely say i've never been happier.

AMAZING transformation kush. I struggle to believe you have 30lbs more to go if that after pictures recent. In fact, it looks perfectly healthy & i would guess you wouldn't need more than 5-10lbs MAX but based on that pic i would say 0lbs. You would look too skinny IMO if you lost 30lbs more where as right now you got a great balance with tone (not bodybuilding definition of it). (Obligatory no W/K)
regardless, great job!

Coming from a guy, I think you look great at 160. Your frame would be better suited to that weight than at 130. Don't trust the scales, trust how you feel, what you see in the mirror, and your feedback. And as part of your feedback I can honestly say you did a fantastic cut, and if you wanted to you wouldn't have to cut anymore!

Thank u for your honesty "Narmark"..
I completely understand where u are coming from about the "extremely lean look".. I was actually severely overdieted and hated being that skinny.. The judges penalized me for being too lean, too vascular, and too hard for the bikini division. So that's one of the many reasons why im transitioning into Physique.. The look is very feminine, no vascularity allowed, full muscle, and beauty flow. Im actually very excited, its a category that I fall into with my hardwork and training ethic.

Thanks so much!! Congrats to "Kush Hush" as well.. While this journey is not easy for anyone to accomplish, its a very rewarding one.. It takes alot of courage and inner strength to overcome the addiction to food, and while this is a physical transformation, its more emotional than anything else. Its a journey and lifestyle enhancement that I wouldn't change for the world. So many people doubted me, tested me, told me I couldn't do it, and here I am now a competitor.. still pushing hard to create and reach new goals. With Determination and Drive, anything is possible.. There are no limits to what someone can achieve!

Ms_NicoleRose, awesome job! Do you mind posting your diet and lifting/cardio routine? My wife is in the process of cutting with me and we have her on a lower calorie version of my diet and she trains with me. But I'd like to see what other women are eating and how they are training to compare with what she's doing. Thanks, and good luck in 2012!

Look forward to reading and seeing your pre work and results both on the journey and on the day. I think it's great that you've really identified with that new catergory and personally, i'm more of a fan of that look on females which if i'm correct is closer to a more streamlined look between your contest and off season look.
All the best and hope to hear your story as it unfolds

I don't have Fit pictures *YET!!*
Hi guys.. I decided that since I will begin going to a gym and all that I might as well participate on this thread, all this pics were taken just a couple of minutes ago.
Anyway I had been fat since like forever, 120 Kgs more or less was the norm then 6 years ago lost like 20 kg (around 40 pounts) being 97 Kgs on averge, 2 years ago I lost other 10 or so KG by using Metalim diet (Which from what I have read is similar to Atkins?) Anyway I am planning to do that diet again but don't commit the same mistakes which rebound me to the 115 Kg I weight today.
But I would really appreciate if you guys could help me on this? I know zero about body building so maybe Metalim isn't good for that? Is it better to try to get muscles when I diet or after I get slim?
So my stats:
Height: 1.78 Meters (5 ft 10 in)
Weight: 115 Kg (253 pounds)
Waist: 130 Cm (51 in)
BMI: 36.30
Body Fat: 38.43%
And... According to forum rules I can't post images or links which kinda suck.. Gotta post!!

The old thread is what literally gave me the motivation that I needed to finally start training again. I would glimpse at it every once-in-awhile until one day I just said **** it. I started August 29th 2011 and have lost about 85lbs. and my goal has now evolved.
Thanks for the inspiration!
Pictures to come.
