Brahs I've got a problem with my GN...
My phone vibrates, notification light comes on, and my lightflow debugger widget shows the MMS notification as being active, but no message actually comes through. Any ideas?

Finally gave up Vanilla Rootbox 4.2.2 ROM to test 4.3 PAC-Man ROM on my Note 2.
So far so good. Same feel with Rootbox as its both AOKP/CM based.
Haven't explored the whole ROM though.Last edited by jinda628; 09-05-2013 at 10:20 AM.

yes. i dont know why but reboots fix like 70% of problems with electronic devices
exactly. zoom is one of the MAIN things that separates cameras and camera phones. i've been saying someone should come out w/ a keychain lens for camera phones like this pic for years

No, they are. I don't care what the marketing team cooks up, the sensor on a phone is way too small to make any use of that many megapixels. Realistically, phones should have no more than 6mp.
When your phone has more megapixels than this $7k camera, you know something isn't right.
Anyway, just ordered an S4. My S2 is starting to show it's age.

Any brahs work at an AT&T or Verizon store. I feel like with my knowledge of phones and being pretty good in retail it would be a decent job for me. Do you actually have to have a degree or do they take students? Wasn't sure anywhere else to ask this kind of question.

Just got myself the Xperia Ultra few days ago - white version.
This thing is a beast so freaking fast. I'm going to put it through its pace for the next few days and see how it is such as the battery life.
One thing is quite obvious from the beginning though, this sits closer to tablet side of the "phablet" fence than a phone.
Keeping it within.

Nice!
I'm leaning towards getting this phone if it's released for T-Mobile. It passed through FCC last month with T-Mobile frequencies but no official word if they'll carry it. I think it was around 2 months from when the Xperia Z passed though the FCC and when it became available on T-Mobile so I'm thinking late October, early Novemeber for the Xperia Ultra.

Sup Android brahs, I currently have the Iphone 4S and am looking to join the android masterrace.
I have my eyes on the Galaxy S4 but I read this big thread on XDA about screens breaking in the pocket or while lying on the table without any pressure and Gorilla Glas intact.
Just wanted to ask if any of you brahs had this problem.
Thread i'm refering too: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2287882
Dont get me wrong I know you have to treat phones well and my Iphone doesnt have a single scratch after 2 years of heavy use, but I always carry it around in my pocket and the Iphone fell to the ground more than once (its in a bumper case), I just dont want it to break in my pocket because of a poorly manufactured display.
Is this phone really that fragile?

At this point I am not sure why anyone on Verizon has a phone besides the Note - If you use your phone for more than calls and texts nothing compares. ..... I'll be upgrading to the Note 3, just not in a rush to grab one first day right now. Will probably wait a bit to grab one on Ebay to save a little cash.
Kinda waiting to hear more about the 6" Windows phone that has been leaked though.12-5-23

I am starting to come around to that way of thinking. I used to love a small phone. I got the GS3 and it was 'huge'. But I find that even that is not large enough for me at times.
I do a lot of remote access to my servers and other computers at work. A larger screen is much more desirable now.
Problem is that I still have a year before I can upgrade. Thinking about asking my Verizon rep about the Verizon Edge program to see if it applies to my account.

I use my phone for a lot, the bigger the screen the better. I'd jump to a 6"er without a second thought, beyond that I'd have to start asking if it's too big. Doing remote access with your phone I am surprised you are using a "small" phone.
I have bought my last 3 phones off Ebay, not giving up my unlimited data - been eligible for an upgrade for years.12-5-23
